Love Is Blind has captivated viewers since its premiere on Netflix in 2020. The show is a social experiment that allows people to try falling in love without seeing their dates.
According to hosts Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey, the success of Love Is Blind may be due to it being a throwback to an old-school style of dating.

Netflix will have year-round reality romance programming, and the streamer got a little help in announcing the news by “Love Is Blind” host Nick Lachey and several of the men featured on its reality roster.
Calling their band N-2-luv, the video features “Too Hot to Handle” stars Harry Jowsey, Nathan Webb and Nathan Soan Mngomezulu, and Jarrette Jones and Matt Barnett from “Love is Blind,” who announce — in song — all the shows that are coming back, and some new ones.
But, if you don’t have time to watch, here’s what you need to know:
“Love is Blind’s” third season will drop later this year on Netflix, while the streamer confirmed it had greenlit seasons 4 and 5 of the show, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey.
On Thursday, the streamer announced new series “The Ultimatum,” which will drop on April 6. It follows six couples on the verge of...

“Love is Blind,” Netflix’s fan-favorite, extremely unhinged dating show, returned earlier this month. The second season of the hit series, which places 15 men and women in separate pods to get to know each other without being able to see each other, doubles as a social experiment aimed at answering a question as old as time: is love really blind?
But now that most people have finally caught up on the new season — the final four episodes hit the streamer on Feb. 18 — we have our own burning questions. What elixir does Shayne have on hand to have girls vying for his love despite being a walking red flag? What real friends let the people they care about get love-bombed via ukulele — on camera, no less? And why is everyone sweating so much?...

As RuPaul's famous saying goes: "If you don't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?" That seems to be the motto Love Is Blind star Jessica Batten is living by these days. The reality TV personality, who appeared in the first season of the hit Netflix show, returned for an epic comeback on the new reunion series, Love Is Blind: After the Altar. Although Jessica didn't get closure with her ex-fiancé Mark Cuevas or make amends with couple Amber Pike and Matt Barnett, she ended up discovering something more significant about herself. Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched “Love Is Blind: After the Altar,” streaming now on Netflix.
Just weeks before the Covid-19 pandemic forced isolation and quarantining around the world, Netflix debuted a new reality dating show, “Love Is Blind,” that featured its hopeful romantics meeting potential mates from behind the walls of their own individual pods. Spoiler alert: by the end of Season 1, two couples got married and are now back, along with the majority of the cast and a special guest from “Too Hot to Handle,” for a three-part followup entitled “Love Is Blind: After the Altar.”

Though their connection may not have been as instantaneous as Lauren and Cameron's, there's no doubt that Love Is Blind's Amber and Barnett have something special. On the first season of Netflix's reality dating show, Matt Barnett was initially torn between three contestants in the pods, but he eventually decided his red-hot connection with Amber Pike was the strongest. He popped the question, Amber said yes, and the two ended up among the only two Love Is Blind couples to actually tie the knot. Still together over a year later, Amber and Barnett have admitted their relationship hasn't always felt like a fairy tale, but they continue to prove that reality TV romance can translate into a loving, lasting real-life union. Here are just some of Amber and Barnett's cutest photos as a happily married couple.

Turns out the moment everyone was talking about from the Love Is Blind reunion could've been way more dramatic. In an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Amber Pike and husband Matt Barnett detailed the whole Jessica Batten situation, including what viewers didn't see at the reunion. "Obviously, there was a lot of things in the show I didn't know about," Amber told host Ellen DeGeneres after rewatching a clip from their drunken bachelorette party. "I thought maybe she had a crush on him. So, seeing everything when the show aired, I was not happy." "It was super fun," Barnett joked. "Matt was doing his best to calm me down," Amber said. So, Barnett did...

Somebody sure didn't like what she saw when she watched Love Is Blind. Netflix just released a first look at the upcoming reunion for the dating show experiment, and Amber Pike has some not-so-nice words for Jessica Batten after seeing how the latter behaved over the course of the show. At one point in the pods (before the couples had met each other), Jessica was sure she was getting engaged to Matt Barnett, until Barnett suddenly revealed he wasn't quite as into her as he thought. She then switched to Mark Cuevas, and the two had a very rocky relationship over the course of the show, with Jessica constantly looking back at what she thought she could have had with Barnett, especially after she...

While many fans wait for the final episodes of Netflix’s reality series, Love is Blind, they have been left with a lot of unanswered questions. They are especially curious about a particular actor who goes by the name Damian Powers. He recently came to the limelight after getting engaged to an actress and a fellow cast, Giannina Gibelli. Although Powers was in the show right from the start, he went unnoticed as the creators of this program focused on other actors such as Matt Barnett. Powers, however, became the focus of this show in the later episodes when his relationship

Love Is Blind star Jessica Batten walked away from the reality TV experience with a unique outcome. Warning, spoilers follow! Jessica didn't walk away with a husband, but she did walk away with the criticism of viewers everywhere. After being told by Matt Barnett that he no longer felt the feelings he previously described to her, she exited that conversation and went all in with Mark Cuevas. But once they two were engaged and together in person, they struggled to connect. During several scenes, Jessica was seen with alcohol in hand, including those when she tried to talk to Barnett about what went down between them in the pods. "I think there's a reason that there's sometimes alcohol around during...

Well that was awkward! Love Is Blind has now released its final-ish episode (before the reunion!), the one in which the couples said "I do" or "I don't" after approximately 38 days of knowing each other, and even fewer days of knowing what each other looked like. Netflix's grand love experiment ended with just two couples actually making it to the reception, and while we were hoping and expecting one of them to survive the experiment the whole time, the other was honestly a bit of a surprise. Truly, did anyone see Barnett in those pods and think he'd leave this thing married? Because we didn't! But yes, Matt Barnett and Amber Pike both said they did, and now...
