Adrian Thomas was born May 29, 1977 to a coal miner father and car
salesperson mother. He has an older sister, Angela, a school teacher;
and a younger brother, Shane. After his parents divorced when he was
eight years old, Adrian found himself in East Tennessee. Adrian later
attended West Virginia State College where he studied Acting and
Sociology. He made his official stage acting debut with the Johnson
City Community Theatre in "Godspell" where he played the lead
character, Jesus. Adrian continued stage shows with various theatrical
companies, including Rogersville Playhouse, Blue Moon Dinner Theatre,
Proud Annie Mystery Theatre, and Jonesborough Repertory Theatre. While
working at Blue Moon Dinner Theatre, he met his best friend Tod C
Riddle, an experienced theatre and film actor who was also an
accomplished set designer and technical expert. Together Tod and Adrian
joined forces to create Two Pence Productions. Adrian worked several
years as the artistic director where he starred in and often directed
several shows that Tod produced. In 2005 Adrian played a small roles in
"Transporter 2", with Jason Statham, Matthew Modine, and AnnaLynne
McCord. In 2006 he was a stoner in "Push" staring Chazz Palminteri and
Michael Rapaport. Adrian made his dancing premier in a "Bud Light
Commercial" at The 2007 Superbowl. Directed by Michael Landon, Jr;
Adrian played a young Amish man in the Hallmark Channel made for TV
movie "The Shunning", which was based on the literary series by Beverly
Lewis. In 2011 Adrian met Lagniappe Motion Pictures director Roger
Franks. Franks was so impressed with Adrian's talent the he wrote the
short film "The Watch" with Adrian in mind. Adrian played the lead role
of Nathan Bishop in "The Watch" along side Tucker Smallwood, Juan
Carlos Piedrahita, W. Scott Parker III, Jeff Briggs, Lisa Sain Odom,
Jody Vines, and Tina Maynard. Adrian has modeled in several print ads.
When not on set, on stage or in the director's chair; Adrian enjoys
spending time in the mountains and at the beach.
