Katherine Luaces creates content for Sanford Street Productions. Her screenplay 'Raw Pillow' is a quarter-finalist in the 2019 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, her followup screenplay for the 'Broken Sidewalk' anthology was selected as an Official Selection of the 2019 HollyShorts Screenplay contest. Her historical drama 'Abraham's Wake' was a semi-finalist in ScreenCraft's Pilot Launch Fall 2018 competition, and her family full-length drama 'Benefit of Time' was a quarter-finalist in ScreenCraft's 2018 competition.
She co-wrote and produced the short film 'Broken Sidewalk' in 2016, which received the Audience Choice Award at the 2018 Catskill International Film Festival, was nominated as a finalist at the 2018 Sydney Short Film Festival, and was the winner of the Fall 2018 FirstGlance Film Festival's Short Online Contest.
Raised in Amherst, Massachusetts, Katherine graduated with a BA in English and Art History from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and received her J.D. from Tulane University Law School in 2006.
