Val Kvale(1913-2001)
- Actress
The daughter of Norwegian immigrants, Val Kvale was born in Minnesota, the youngest of 8 children. The family relocated to California in the early 1930s and, once there, the young beauty briefly found her way into the motion picture industry. Although she did not receive screen credit, she appeared as a chorus girl in the Eddie Cantor (1892-1964) vehicle, "Kid Millions" (1934). While that is her only known film appearance, it is possible that she found extra or chorus work in other titles, as well. Kvale was married twice, with both unions likely ending in divorce. Living quietly, not much is known about her later years. Val Kvale passed away in 2001 at the age of 87. Longevity ran in the Kvale family. Two of her older sisters lived to be 101 and 103 respectively.
