If it were up to us, "Project Runway" would never be "out," it would just play on a loop 24/7/365.
Sadly, Season 14 will say auf wiedersehen on Thursday, November 5th, so now seems like a good time to take stock and rank the previous 13 seasons, with the expectation that the 2015 season will probably fall somewhere in the middle of the pack once it's done. (Tim Gunn "hated" Season 14, but there have been worse.) Every season of PR is a precious, unique little rhinestone, but, like the judges, we have our favorites -- and now it's Our turn to be biased.
So here's our very subjective but still definitive worst-to-best ranking, which may only be challenged by a glare from Nina Garcia, an eye roll from Michael Kors, a "make it work" from Tim Gunn, or an "out" from Heidi Klum.

Guest judges come and go on Project Runway, but's no one who feels more comfortable in the seat than this week's All Star guest judge: Nina Garcia. She brings her fashion industry knowledge as well as her years of Project Runway judgeship experience to critique the all stars' looks. This week's challenge requires the designers to create a look that embodies their past, present, and future loves. And love is not what the judges had for Kate Pankoke's dress. As expected, Nina did not go easy on the critique, but Kate—this being her third time on the show—proves hard to knock down.

Alyssa Milano admits she was nervous when hosting Project Runway All Stars for the first time last season—but all that's behind her now. In season 4, which premieres Thursday, Oct. 30, she settles comfortably into her hosting and judging role—she even "gets into it" with fellow judge Isaac Mizrahi over a critique—even though she was eight months pregnant while filming the show. Here, Milano tells EW what it was like to tape the series (in heels no less), who her favorite guest judge was, and what to expect from this season... the best to date, according to Milano. EW:...

As hard as it is to get by without Heidi, Nina, and Tim, Project Runway: All Stars always helps to fill the perfectly designed hole in our hearts during breaks between Project Runway seasons. And if you’ve enjoyed the past few years of the flagship show, you’re in luck: The cast of All Stars season 4 of is heavy on designers from Runway’s past few seasons.

It won't air for weeks, but for the "Project Runway" Season 12 finalists, it's all over except for the waiting.
The last eight designers in the reality show competition all presented their collections Friday (Sept. 6) at New York's Mercedz-Benz Fashion Week held in the middle of Lincoln Center.
Judge/host Heidi Klum introduced fellow judges Zac Posen and Nina Garcia, who were joined by "Scandal" star Kerry Washington. Alyssa Milano -- who will host Season 3 of "Project Runway All Stars" -- actress Paula Garces, rapper Bow Wow and 2012's Miss USA Nana Meriwether were also in attendance.
Wearing a bronze, one-shouldered gown, Klum, knowing that the fashion week theaters run on an extremely tight schedule, asked to "get the party started," but not before dragging mentor and host Tim Gunn onto the catwalk for a declaration of love.
"I'm rolling bandages in the back," Gunn said. "Just metaphorically."

With the season premiere under our belt, we can’t wait to see what the second episode has in store for us! There is sure to be more drama, designs, and obviously loads of criticism from the judges. Watch a sneak peek right here.
Last week on Project Runway we saw all the new designers and their styles — and of course we already saw some tears as we said goodbye to Angela. This week, the designers endure more challenges and more advice from the panel of judges and of course, Tim Gunn. Check out the video preview of episode 2!

Kate Pankoke is getting something most Project Runway designers don't -- a second chance. As part of a new twist introduced this season -- dubbed "Runway Redemption" -- viewers got to vote which of thee former competitors would return. Pankoke, a 24-year-old from Chicago who originally was on season 11, beat out season eight's Valerie Mayen and season six's Lawrence Coleman for the honor, as revealed in last week's season 12 premiere. Photos: 'Project Runway' Season 12: Meet the Designers During her original season -- the show's first "teams" edition -- Pankoke was sent home during a unconventional challenge that called for the

Designer and former contestant Michael Costello gave us his hysterical take on the premiere episode — read on and Watch for more!
Season 12 of Project Runway has arrived with an entire new cast, new rules and unexpected twists. The first episode of the season is always my favorite because you get to meet a whole new set of designers, personalities and design aesthetics. However, this season could not have begun without a twist. Kate Pankoke from season 11 was chosen to return. Ummm, ok.

High Stakes & Drama Ring In Season 12:
This season the stakes have been raised. The winner of season 12 will receive a price package worth over half a million dollars, the biggest price in the history of the show. Makes me want to sign up and compete again! Now, let’s get to the real deal. This week’s challenge was...

Within the first 10 minutes of the premiere episode, Heidi and Tim announce that a blast from the past will be back to try her chance at the big prize — and the new contestants were less than pleased! See how the ‘unconventional challenge’ turned out.
Project Runway season 12 promised to be more dramatic than ever before — and it certainly lived up to it’s expectations, with unexpected surprises and new rules at every turn. For starters, the designers will manage their own budget throughout the season, deciding when to splurge and when to save — but what happens when someone doesn’t budget? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
As all of the designers come out, there’s a familiar face in the crowd — and it’s Kate Pankoke! Kate, who was eliminated on episode 7 of season 11, is granted another chance at winning the big prize — and the...

Two Project Runway designers were eliminated in a surprising decision by the judges in Thursday night's episode of the Lifetime reality competition.
Kate Pankoke and Tu Suthiwat Nakchat were sent home as the result of an unconventional challenge -- the second this season -- that tasked the designers to make a prom dress out of duct tape. Working as a team, the duo chose a denim-patterned tape to create a long dress -- the only one of the five teams not to go with a short garment.
