A distinct smell emanates from Red (Kurtwood Smith) and Kitty’s (Debra Jo Rupp) basement in Netflix‘s That ’90s Show teaser trailer, and it’s not teen spirit. Crank up Alice in Chains and Soundgarden because a new generation of stoners is ready to give their grandparents a migraine and bring the ’90s back like a VH1 Special tailored for Generation X.
Netflix picked up That ’90s Show straight-to-series back in late 2021. The show is set in 1995 and revolves around Leia Forman (Callie Haverda), the daughter of Eric and Donna, as she visits her grandparents for the summer and bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids. The new cast members for the 10-episode multicamera include Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Reyn Doi, and Sam Morelos.

Netflix’s “That ’90s Show” has premiered its first teaser trailer, taking audiences back to the beloved basement circle with a new gang of characters and featuring well-recognized motifs like its predecessor’s signature guitar riff-heavy theme track, town’s seedy water tower (with the weed leaf still poorly painted on it) and Red Forman’s (Kurtwood Smith) penchant to say he’s going to put foots in people’s asses. The spinoff to “That ’70s Show” will premiere Jan. 19 with 10 22-minute episodes.
The show’s logline is as follows:
It’s 1995 and Leia Forman (Callie Haverda) is desperate for some adventure in her life or at least a best friend who isn’t her dad. When she arrives in Point Place to visit her grandparents, Red and Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp), Leia finds what she’s looking for right next door when she meets the dynamic and rebellious Gwen.

“Home Economics” begins a new season at the Happiest Place on Earth — Disneyland! Season 3 of the ABC comedy kicks things off with the Hayworths at the iconic theme park, joining a long list of shows that have dedicated episodes to Mickey and his friends.
“This is not just a season premiere, it is a dream come true to get paid to go to Disneyland. I can see how hard they had to push you to come out here to interview us today,” “Home Economics” star Topher Grace joked to Et’s Matt Cohen on location in Anaheim, California.
The actor acknowledged that when he shows his two young kids that he shares with his wife, Ashley, the premiere episode, there may be some anger on their part as to why they weren’t able to tag along on set. “I was thinking maybe this would be a good place to bring them,...
