Udpated with launch date and renewal: Blake Griffin’s The Pursuit of Healthiness podcast will launch on August 4 with a roster of A-list guests and has already been renewed for a second season, Audible said Monday.
The podcast, announced in October, features Griffin discussing how everyday people can keep their bodies and minds in shape, featuring conversations with some of the most notable figures in the world of sports, entertainment and wellness. Season 1 guests include Michael B. Jordan, Arianna Huffington, Queer Eye’s food expert Antoni Porowski, Deepak Chopra, Chelsea Handler and Karlie Kloss among others.
The podcast is produced by Audible and Obb Sound, a division of Obb Media.

Exclusive: Netflix is going old-school, ordering six episodes of Historical Roasts, a half-hour comedy series from Comedy Central roast star Jeff Ross and Obb Pictures. The project stems from the popular live Los Angeles comedy club show that has been running since 2014. Obb (Kevin Hart’s Cold as Balls) optioned rights to the show and then secured the deal with Netflix which beat out multiple bidders. Production begins this fall and the show launches next year.
Each episode will bring together A-list comedians in period-appropriate garb and character to roast historical figures. No word on the roastees yet, but the live shows have featured everyone from Abraham Lincoln and Jimmy Hendrix to Michael Jackson and William Shakespeare.

“I’ve got major shrinkage,” complained Hart as he sunk into the ice in the premiere episode that aired Tuesday night on the “Get Hard” actor’s Laugh Out Loud network.
