Ever get a feeling of déjà vu while you're watching The X Factor? That's because after 11 series and hundreds of contestants, the live shows have seen a whopping 728 tracks performed so far. But like a wedding DJ reaching for his failsafe party anthems CD, the top five most popular songs have been dusted off and rolled out over 33 times between them.
Our geeky rules state that we're counting all live show performances and group songs, but not repeat performances from the same act in the same series.
=5. 'Feeling Good': 6 performances
Performed by: Beverley Trotman, Rachel Hylton, Stacey Solomon, James Arthur, Rebecca Ferguson, Andrea Faustini
Made famous by Nina Simone, this classic usually pops up in the traditional 'Big Band Week', and is a good excuse for an act to show off their sultry side. Stacey had a go with Michael Bublé in 2009, while Andrea tried out a more powerhouse version last year.

Footage of Natalia Kills and Willy Moon shocked TV viewers this week - and not just because we discovered where former All Saints star Melanie Blatt is now.
No, Kills and Moon were both fired as judges on X Factor New Zealand after launching a vicious tirade at a wannabe singer, labelling his performance "disgusting" and "absolutely artistically atrocious".
They're not the first ones to completely insult the contestants standing in front of them. It's just that this lot - somehow - got away with it…
1. Gordon Heuckeroth on Holland's Got Talent
In one of the most shocking things we've ever seen on television, Holland's Got Talent judge Gordon Heuckeroth spouted some horrific racial drivel to contestant Xiao Wang during the 2013 edition of the programme.
"Which number are you singing?," he said, moments before Xiao began his performance. "No 39 with rice?"
Even Gordon's fellow judges challenged him on the comment...

It's getting serious on The X Factor now, and how do we know? Because each act will be performing two songs this week... no biggie! There are just five hopefuls left – Stereo Kicks, Lauren Platt, Andrea Faustini, Ben Haenow and Fleur East – but who's going to shine?
One thing they've had no control over this week is song choice. The public picked one of their tracks, and special celeb guests chose the other. That means anything could happen, so join us from the start of the show at 8pm, as we bring you all the action...
21:46Bye.

It's Fright Night on The X Factor this week and boy, wouldn't you know it! Not only are the acts all singing 'Fright Night'-themed songs (or, well, they're supposed to be) but one of them will be booted out before the night is out after Simon Cowell got fed up with them all for not trying hard enough. If that's not all scary enough, The Script will be popping along to perform.
So join us when the show starts at 8pm as we find out who gives us thrills and who gives us chills. And, of course, who's having a right nightmare and will have to leave the competition...
22:12It's not even over - the vote lines are open again, and someone's going to be sent home tomorrow. All your votes still count but we get another free five app ones - hooray! But that's it for...

A few of the finalists' faces are familiar, so here's where you may have seen some of the final 12 acts before below:
Cheryl's Girls:
Chloe Jasmine
We watched Chloe Jasmine take part on Sky Living modelling reality TV series The Face during which she was mentored by supermodel Naomi Campbell. She impressed all three model judges including Campbell, Caroline Winberg and Erin O'Connor but gracefully exited the show after ranking in tenth place.
She also auditioned on The X Factor back in 2006, with Cowell describing her as "too over the top" and "every parent's nightmare... She doesn't want to work for a living, 'I want it all now'".

X Factor contestants Sam Callahan and Tamera Foster have discussed their relationship.
The couple were romantically linked during the ITV show, with Foster confirming that she was "close" to Callahan last month.
In an interview with The Sun, Callahan claimed that he "loves" the 16-year-old and revealed that the pair struggled to spend any private time together when they were living in the X Factor house.
He said: "I'd sneak into Tamera's room in the middle of the night to say goodnight and have a private intimate moment but never for long.
"Security told us if we were going to spend time together then we would have to keep the door open. We got warned about it a lot."
The 19-year-old also revealed he was scared of losing his love interest, after it recently emerged that he had sent sex texts to a glamour model.

The X Factor 2013 voting statistics have been made available in full by ITV, as is tradition at the end of a series.
The figures show that Sam Bailey and Nicholas McDonald were the only two contestants to ever lead the public vote, with Bailey maintaining her status at the top of the pile from Week 7 until her victory earlier on Sunday evening (December 15).
The X Factor: Judges' winner predictions revealed
McDonald led voting on the first Sunday of the Live Shows, both nights of week two and week six, with Bailey leading all other weeks.
The statistics also show that there was just 0.4% separating Rough Copy and Luke Friend during the week of the quarter finals, when Friend ended up in the sing-off and Tamera Foster was eliminated.
On four occasions, the contestant who was eliminated did not finish bottom of the public vote - Lorna Simpson in week one,...

On Sunday night's results show, the final seven X Factor acts awkwardly shuffled their way through Take That's 'Never Forget'. Sam Callahan has stated that he does not see The X Factor as a singing competition.
The 19-year-old, who was eliminated from the show last night (November 18) over Luke Friend, has come under fire in recent weeks for his perceived lack of vocal prowess.

He continued: "A lot of people in the world can stand in the middle of a stage with a microphone... it takes a lot more to put on a real show."
Callahan also spoke about his crush on Nicole Scherzinger, revealing that the judge "gives nice hugs", and admitted that he was disappointed with Miley Cyrus's low-key performance.

The latest act to be eliminated from The X Factor has been revealed.
Sam Callahan exited the show following a sing-off with Luke Friend. The result means that Boys mentor Louis Walsh has lost his first contestant of the series.
Sam took on 'Iris' by the Goo Goo Dolls in the sing-off, while Luke performed U2's 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For'.
Walsh chose not to participate in this week's vote as he did not want to choose between his acts.
Nicole Scherzinger opted to send home Callahan ahead of Friend. She threw a pen at Callahan and told him that she was "frustrated" that he left it too late to give a strong vocal performance.
Meanwhile, Gary Barlow explained that Friend is a "unique" and "brilliant act". He pointed out that Callahan's sing-off performance was his strongest of the entire competition, but chose to send him home.

Sam Callahan has become the sixth act to be eliminated from 'The X Factor'. The 19-year-old was sent home from the ITV competition following a sing-off with Luke Friend, who is also part of Louis Walsh's Boys category, during tonight's (17.11.13) live results show. Louis chose not to vote, while Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger decided to keep Luke in the competition. Sharon subsequently revealed she would have opted to axe Sam from the competition as...

Louis Walsh rode on a penguin and screamed on a carousel as he took his X Factor acts ice skating.
The Irish judge appeared to struggle on the ice, seeking support from a plastic bird and controversial contestant Sam Callahan as he treated the boys ahead of the latest Live Shows.
However, Callahan also appeared to have trouble staying up on the Natural History Museum rink, taking a tumble right in front of photographers.
Walsh and Callahan later reteamed with Luke Friend and Nicholas McDonald for a ride on the venue's merry-go-round, which the 61-year-old appeared to enjoy more than his teenage contestants.
Walsh is the only judge on this year's X Factor not to have lost any of his acts or had any of them in the bottom two.

Sam Bailey: A+
Despite being tagged as this year's "Tesco Mary", given the tag "ScrewBo" by Louis Walsh and an alarming amount of interest from Michael Bolton, Sam has managed to overcome these hurdles and genuinely be considered a contender for the title. No easy feat for an act in the dreaded Overs category.
Sam's managed to not only hit all the big notes, she's also managed to make herself look like an artist who could sell a few records. The judges can't find a flaw, her blubbing husband gets us all emotional every time and she's proving to be consistently popular in the Digital Spy polls. We'd probably hate her if she wasn't so darn nice.

"The shows need to produce a superstar every two or three seasons to give them credibility, and she is already there in week five or whatever it is.
"Simon is a smart guy, he will know she can sell records all around the world and will sign her to his label."

It gave us Louis Walsh tooting on a trumpet, Rough Copy swinging their canes and Sam Callahan murdering Dean Martin. Big Band Week was everything we wished for and more last night.
But who will be getting the boot out of the competition this evening? Only seven acts can go through and for someone, this evening's sing-off will be the end of the road.
Join us from 8pm when we'll have a running commentary on all the action, including the special guest appearances from Robbie Williams and Celine Dion.
20:59Have a good evening guys and girls. We're off to watch Downton Abbey's finale. Have a good night!

Bowler hats, Louis Walsh blowing his own trumpet and lots of Michael Bublé references. It could only mean one thing. The return of Big Band Week.

4. Luke Friend - 'Moondance'
Gary Barlow might have had some technical quibbles, but Luke looked at ease with the Big Band surroundings. Extra bonus points for the "skeedodobopbop" bits at the finale.

Nile Rodgers has worked alongside David Bowie, Michael Jackson and Madonna. He is the pop mastermind behind Chic. And he's proved this year that he's still got a magical musical touch thanks to some work with daft mask-wearing, French dance geniuses Daft Punk.
In short, Nile Rodgers is a genius.
So how do we, the great British public repay Nile Rodgers? How do we repay the man who gave us the joyous beauty of 'Le Freak' and 'Good Times'? We repay him by making him play as the backing band for Dermot O'Leary's dance moves on X Factor. Shame on us, Britain. Shame On Us.
Introduced as 'a producer to the stars', Nile is now performing for Louis Walsh and a frazzled-looking Nicole Scherzinger. His reward? A piercing, insightful and engaging interview from Dermot O'Leary. "So [Nile], what are you doing at the moment?" Erm, maybe not.

Speaking to The Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack, he admitted that he was "shocked" to hear his name called out first on tonight's results show.
"To be honest, at first I had to do a double take with the fact that Dermot said 'Sam Callahan' as I didn't expect it to come out of his mouth first."
Kingsland Road became the fourth act to leave the 2013 series after losing out in the sing-off against Tamera Foster.
"I was just shocked. It was a crazy bottom two but I think to be honest every week it's going to be a shock now," Callahan added.

Disco! Who doesn't love it, eh? Well, one of tonight's acts probably won't be feeling so fond of the good times or the boogie by the end of the evening as another X Factor elimination looms.
With the Flash Vote gone, not only are audiences deprived of bursts of Queen at regular and inappropriate intervals during live shows, but we have absolutely no bloomin' idea who's going to be in the sing-off tonight. Could there be Deadlock drama on the horizon? We will have to wait and see.
One thing's for sure - expect performances from 2011 X Factor winners Little Mix and trouble herself, Ms Taylor Swift. Join Digital Spy from 8pm to find out who's going home.
20:57Next week, we are to expect a full orchestra, Robbie Williams and Celine Dion. But it's the End of the (Kingsland) Road for Josh, Matt, Jay, Thompson and Connor - and their busy patterned shirts.

'X Factor' wannabe Tamera Foster kissed fellow hopeful Sam Callahan just hours after splitting from her boyfriend. The 16-year-old star - who is favourite to win this year's competition - reportedly embraced the 19-year-old hunk shortly after ending her three-month romance with business trader Joshante Amihyia, 20, over the phone. A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: ''Tamera didn't seem to feel bad about ending with Josh -- she was blunt and just said she didn't want him anymore. ''Then she admitted she and Sam kissed after the break-up. ''They'd been flirting backstage and things went from there. Tamera was giggling...

Tonight saw some brilliant - and not so brilliant - X Factor performances for Disco Week.
Here, we round up the four who had us jumping and jiving, and the one that had us wanting to hide behind our flares...
Luke Friend - 'Play That Funky Music'
Up until now, Luke has been a bit of a boring clichéd faux-rock-popper. But it was only tonight, when he took on 'Play That Funky Music', that we felt as though we saw a more polished and dare we say - whisper it in case Louis hears - credible performer…
Sam Bailey - 'No More Tears (Enough is Enough)'
Ah, Sam Bailey. The last 'Over' standing, and up until now has been well and thoroughly slapped with the 'Mature Lady Ballad Singer' stamp. But a sexy sequined jumpsuit, some cracking moves and an up-tempo tune later and suddenly she seems less Tesco Mary,...

The X Factor's Gary Barlow has elaborated on his criticism of Sam Callahan during tonight's live show.
The head judge - who gave Callahan negative comments after his performance of 'Relight My Fire' - said that he needs more direction.
Asked by The Xtra Factor's Caroline Flack which contestants could be in trouble this week, Barlow confirmed that he is worried for Callahan's place in the competition.
He explained: "I just don't think he had the right song again. I feel like every week I'm like a broken record [in] saying, 'The song needs to change'.
"You need to find a lane because everyone else right now has a direct lane of who they are and where they're going to.
"For me, Sam does rock, he does soul. He can't make his mind up where he's going to be. He needs a great song for next week if he's still here.

In a suitably woolly theme, The X Factor is pulling on its legwarmers and scrunchies for 'Disco Week'.
And after a peep at the song sheet, that seems to translate as 'Any song from the 1970s-90s with a funky tune'. Where's Louis' little rule book when you need it?
So join Digital Spy from 8pm as we pop open a Wkd and get into the groove for the fourth live show...
21:47Don't forget to leave your comments at the bottom of the page, and join us back here at 8pm tomorrow night to see who will be hanging up their platform booties. Night, all!
21:46Time to put your lycra away, that's the end of Disco Week! Who do you think will be dancefloor champ, and who will be left sweeping up the party poppers at the end of the night? That's...
