“The Crown” is gearing up for its last hurrah at the SAG Awards, an organization that has bestowed a number of prizes onto the Netflix regal show over the years. It claimed the highly coveted TV drama ensemble prize twice (2019 and ’20), while individual winners through the years were Claire Foy (2016 and ’17), John Lithgow (2016) and Gillian Anderson (2020). Now the sixth and final season is hoping to prevail for a third time, which would tie it with “Downton Abbey” in this category at three total wins.
Season 6 faces off in the TV drama ensemble race against fellow nominees “The Gilded Age,” “The Last of Us,” “The Morning Show” and “Succession.” Elizabeth Debicki is “The Crown’s” only solo acting nominee this year, with her co-nominees in the TV drama actress category being Jennifer Aniston (“The Morning Show”), Bella Ramsey (“The Last of Us”), Keri Russell (“The Diplomat”) and Sarah Snook (“Succession”).

This year’s SAG Awards nominations for drama ensemble run the gamut in terms of total cast members nominated. You have “The Gilded Age” on one side with a jaw-dropping 34 people represented. And then you have “The Last of Us” on the other side with just two — hi, Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey! HBO’s zombie apocalypse series has now tied the Screen Actors Guild record with “Key and Peele,” which was the first TV show to nab an ensemble citation with just two stars: Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele.
The “Key and Peele” funny duo lost to “Orange Is the New Black” for comedy ensemble in 2016, which had a whopping 34 cast members nominated that year. Hmm, a two-person cast losing to a 34-person ensemble? Might SAG Awards history repeat itself? “The Last of Us” competes this year against “The Gilded Age” (34 cast members), “Succession” (18), “The Crown” (15) and “The Morning Show...

Justin Theorux is still going strong with girlfriend Nicole Brydon Bloom!
The 52-year-old actor and the 29-year-old actress were just spotted leaving the gym together after a workout on Thursday afternoon (October 19) in New York City.
It looks like Justin showered and changed after his workout while Nicole was still wearing her leggings and gym clothes following the sweat session.
Justin and Nicole first sparked dating rumors back in August, but it appears they have been together since at least the beginning of the year.
Just a few weeks ago, the couple was spotted out for dinner with Nicole‘s mom and stepdad. For those who don’t know, Nicole‘s father is the late journalist David Bloom, who died suddenly at the age of 39 from a pulmonary embolism while covering the war in Iraq.
Nicole is an actress on the rise and has appeared on episodes of Law & Order: Svu and The Affair.

George Russell takes on his own battle with a growing union at his steel plant in Pittsburgh. It looks like Justin Theroux‘s relationship with new girlfriend Nicole Brydon Bloom is getting more serious as they just spent time with her parents!
The 52-year-old actor and the 29-year-old budding actress first sparked romance rumors after they were spotted kissing in New York City one month ago.
It’s unclear how long they have been together, but a photo has emerged of Justin and Nicole attending an event in February to support his friend Tan France‘s show Next in Fashion.
So, what’s the latest?
Keep reading to find out more…
Page Six has photos of Justin and Nicole stepping out for dinner on Thursday night (September 29) in NYC with her mom Melanie Bloom and stepfather David McNulty.
For those who don’t know, Nicole‘s father is the late journalist David Bloom, who died suddenly at the age of 39 from a pulmonary embolism while covering the war in Iraq.

Justin Theroux is back in the dating game, or so it seems!
On Monday night, the 52-year-old actor was spotted out with 29-year-old actress Nicole Brydon Bloom in New York City. According to an eyewitness, the two were not shy about showing Pda throughout the night, which included dinner at celebrity hot spot Altro Paradiso, where they shared a kiss.
Theroux ripped a page out of the Johnny Cash playbook in terms of his style for the night, opting for an all-black ensemble with a T-shirt, jeans, and Chelsea boots. He added a little shine with a gold watch. Bloom also opted for an all-black ensemble in a romper and low heels. She added a pop of color with her red purse and a little sparkle with a ring, necklace, and earrings.

Things will heat up in HBO’s “The Gilded Age” Season 2, and not just on the railroads.
As Ward McAllister (Nathan Lane) escorts Bertha Russell (Carrie Coon) to some sort of social event, his voiceover reminds viewers that Bertha has almost everything she could ever want.
“Mrs. Russell, you conquered New York,” Lane’s McAllister says at the beginning of the clip released by Max Wednesday morning. “You dine in the best houses. But are you sure it’s wise to start the war with New York society? Aren’t you asking for trouble?”
“Yes, and you’ll need to pick a team,” Coon’s Russell responds. “Head-to-head and one will be the winner.”

If you're also lamenting how quickly the month seems to be drawing to a close soon, then you're definitely not alone. We tell ourselves we're going to sift through our watchlists for real this time, and yet hardly scratch the surface. There's just way too much cool stuff to watch, and Netflix's model all but ensures you'll never catch up, especially with some of the streamer's own Originals starting to vanish somewhere into the streaming void (for now).
There appears to be a silver lining to December 2022, however, as there aren't a significant amount of titles on the chopping block for that period. With that said, there are still some great films among the bunch that you really ought to check out on Netflix between now and the end of the year, before they're shipped off to yet another service. From high-octane spy thrillers to Kubrick masterpieces, here are...

It’s been a typically busy week for Netflix, both in terms of new additions and a selection of surprising movies that have been dominating the streamer’s most-watched charts. The service has just added three new titles today as well, namely horror film 1Br, season 4 of Disney’s Bunk‘d, and the Adrien Brody and Salma Hayek-starring Septembers of Shiraz. So, are any of these worth checking out?
Directed by David Marmor, 1Br sees lead character Sarah (Nicole Brydon Bloom) find an apartment in Hollywood that appears to be too good to be true. As is probably to be expected, Sarah soon begins to experience strange goings on, unusual neighbors and threats to her sanity that suggest a wider conspiracy. Critics have been generally positive on the picture, including praise for its unconventional timeline and handling of cult forces, and it currently has a solid 87% on Rotten Tomatoes.

A dream apartment complex?
In part one of my interview with David Marmor about Apartment 1Br, we discussed the various disasters that beset the production along the way, the fortuitous casting of Nicole Brydon Bloom, and the importance of creating a setting that would leave no room for simple physical solutions, so that viewers would fully appreciate the need for the film’s heroine to escape her situation psychologically. In part two, I began by asking David how he found the location where the film is set, which contributes a huge amount to its character.

Nicole Brydon Bloom in Apartment 1Br
It’s one of those small, perfectly formed offbeat stories that we don’t see much of it genre cinema anymore, and it came from small beginnings. Few people had heard a whisper about David Marmor’s 1Br before it opened at Fantasia in 2019, but it soon became one of the most talked-about titles of the festival. Cult Gestalt: Marmor Explores Urban Horrors in Efficient Debut
There’s apparently more than one way to define rent control, at least as suggested by David Marmor’s effective and efficient debut, a likeable low-budget horror film 1Br. A notch above the usual American indie horror offerings, Marmor’s narrative is certainly predictable but efficient use of limited locations and calculated performances recalls a variety of arthouse horror icons, particularly Polanski’s celebrated Apartment trilogy (Repulsion; Rosemary’s Baby; The Tenant), at least in its basic themes. "We all, kind of, take care of each other here." Dark Sky Films has unveiled the official trailer for an indie horror film titled 1Br, a reference to "one bedroom" listings for apartments. This premiered at numerous genre festivals last year, including at Fantasia, Beyond Fest, Monsterfest Melbourne, and also the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival. Nicole Brydon Bloom plays Sarah, a young woman trying to escape her painful past who decides to start anew in La, but her neighbors are not what they seem. Also starring Giles Matthey, Taylor Nichols, Alan Blumenfeld, Celeste Sully, Susan Davis, Clayton Hoff, with Earnestine Phillips. After leaving behind a painful past to follow her dreams, Sarah scores the perfect Hollywood apartment. But something is not right. Unable to sleep, tormented by strange noises and threatening notes, her new life quickly starts to unravel. Caught in a waking nightmare, Sarah must find the strength to hold onto her crumbling sanity or be trapped forever in an existential hell.
1Br is essentially a modern update of the classic bodysnatchers story – with people’s personalities replaced not by clones but by a sense of need, a sense of belonging to a community. Director/writer: David Marmor. Cast: Naomi Grossman, Giles Matthey, Taylor Nichols, Nicole Brydon Bloom and Andrea Gabriel. 1Br had its World Premiere in Montreal this July. The film focuses centrally on Sarah. She has just moved to Los Angeles, leaving behind a troubling family conflict. In Los Angeles, she sets herself up in a residence, where everyone is a bit too happy. After settling in, the torture begins as Sarah is initiated into a modern cult; she is unable to escape on her own. Accepting her situation,...

Still, the premise remains intriguing enough to make “1Br” a qualified success, albeit one whose ideas sometimes cry for...
