- Birth nameMary Elaine Carr
- KaiCarra's parents are Mary (Mimi) Carr, flight attendant, and adoptive father, Tom Carr, Surgical Equipment Advisor. She attended private schools throughout elementary and junior high. She graduated from Cypress High School in Southern California. Along with her education, she was taught French, German, Latin, and Italian in order to sing opera when she trained at The Phillip Martin School of Music. As an adult, she speaks French and German, besides her native language, English.
KaiCarra's family was very musical. Her mother constantly sang -in the car, at home, in grocery stores, everywhere; when she was little, KaiCarra thought her mother was the most beautiful singer in the world and only hoped to be like her. Her mother's favorite way of getting her eldest daughter out of bed and ready for school was by singing "Good Morning Merry (Mary) Sunshine". Later, her mother became KaiCarra's manager who actively promoted her daughter's singing and acting career, securing national TV appearances.
Her adoptive Dad played the guitar every Saturday morning at the kitchen table, and the entire family joined in singing. Her Dad accompanied her on guitar as KaiCarra sang for the first couple of years in her singing career. KaiCarra's younger sister first learned the guitar, then the flute, bassoon and finally the cello. Finally, her grandmother lived just a mile away and headed straight to the piano after saying hi to the family- she played a large repertoire, all by ear.
KaiCarra couldn't help but to continue music in her life. She had been surrounded by it always.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Gobriari Studio
- SpouseAlan Rogers(December 30, 2000 - May 25, 2009) (divorced, 1 child)
- KaiCarra never took a single piano lesson? She taught herself when she was 12.
- Was a "critical care" Foster Mom with Cat's Cradle out of North Carolina. But she was a foster failure when she kept adopting the abandoned kittens she cared for... When she reached 5 adopted cats, she knew she couldn't foster anymore. Later, she adopted a fluffy cream Pomeranian in 2007, or as her sister calls her "a lovable cotton ball on legs". "Frannie's addition to the fur family has created balance and no one can call KaiCarra "Crazy Cat Lady" anymore. (Although she is still crazy for cats, dogs, and horses).
- KaiCarra has an IQ of 142. When she was nine, she was tested and the principal encouraged her parents to have her either skip a couple of grades (a voracious reader she started teaching herself French after reading a book about Jenny Lind, read all of the up-to-then published Richard Bach spiritual philosophies by 9 and couldn't tear herself away from her adoptive father's college biology and zoology texts by 10) or go to advanced classes. Because KaiCarra was already "different" from having an entertainment career since age 7, her parents feared she would be singled out by her peers. KaiCarra found other challenges anyway.
