Every once in a while you will find a show that will become your obsession. You know what I’m talking about, it’s the show that you can’t stop thinking about. The water cooler shows as they say. Game of Thrones, The Wire, and of course, Breaking Bad are the prime examples. Some are mostly perfect, and some we just try not to talk about. But some shows that are equally as good, sometimes just fly under the radar. TV shows that are just as good if not better than the Breaking Bad’s of the world. One of those shows is called The Shield.
This show is something special. To say that The Shield pushes the envelope is an understatement. The series showed the ugly side of crime and law enforcement. Corruption, murder, racism, political machinations, serial killers, and other dark stuff that you would probably would not like to hear about.

My Bloody Valentine mastermind Kevin Shields is responsible for creating some of the most distinct and beautiful guitar tones in alt-rock history. Now, he’s teamed up with Fender to harness that sound within the new Shields Blender fuzz pedal.
As heard on the band’s legendary 1991 album, Loveless, Shields utilized layers of textural distortion to create a massive wall of impressionistic volume, helping to defining the shoegaze genre in the process.
For any guitarist looking to replicate the Mbv sound, look no further. Fender’s first-ever signature fuzz pedal is based on Shields’ trusty Fender Blender pedal, the mythical 1970s circuit that has been a key ingredient for his tone. The new signature model was co-developed over a four-year span by Shields and Fender.
“I really enjoyed the experience,” said Kevin Shields. “I’ve been using it a lot recently in the studio, it’s been great, I’m...

“Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields,” a documentary about Brooke Shields and the sexual objectification she endured as a child actor, arrives on Hulu today.
In the two-part documentary, which premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, the actor and model opens up for the first time about her earliest experiences in Hollywood. The film tracks her rise as a child advertising model to her sexualization in movies, starting at age 12, in “Pretty Baby” (1978), and then at 15, in “The Blue Lagoon” (1980).
“I spent my life owing people things and doing whatever they wanted,” Shields says in a new teaser dropped Wednesday morning. “I finally asked myself, ‘What will I be if I don’t allow that anymore?'”
Shields’ experience with older men on set as a child is a common theme in her recollections.

This post contains light spoilers for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Loki season one.
After much speculation, we finally know the name of the next two Avengers movies! Scheduled for release in 2025, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars will cap off Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which begins with Fantastic Four in 2024. We’ve known for some time that Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors, will be the prime villain of the next MCU arc, now titled the Multiverse Saga.
But Secret Wars is something of a surprise, in part because it could refer to four very different storylines. It’s pretty unlikely that the movie will integrate parts of Secret War from 2004 – 2005, a black-ops story involving Nick Fury and Shield. But the other three are all real candidates for adaptation, so let’s take a look at the storylines and what they offer.
