Detective Knight: Independence is written and directed by Edward Drake starring Bruce Willis and Lochlyn Munro.
Bruce Willis is back in one of his latest successes, repeating the role that made him famous: a police officer.
This sequel is a thriller with some interesting formulas such as the divided screen (a là Brian De Palma), but the story is more traditional, with lots of hand-held camera, realistic photography and a plot that is always as expected.
About the Movie Detective Knight: Independence
We love Bruce Willis and we grew up watching his movies and laughing at his jokes. These last (we repeat) no longer include jokes and, although he is at the head of the cast, is no longer the main character, he is more of a secondary figure, a star to watch in B Series movies, action thrillers that are rather de-caffeinated like this one, have action scenes that,...

Paradise City is a movie starring Bruce Willis, John Travolta and Stephen Dorff. It is directed by Chuck Russell.
A run-of-the-mill thriller that funnily enough, counts on some sequences and scenes that barely saves it from being a complete fiasco.
Premise
The renegade bounty hunter, Ryan Swan, has to pave his way into the Hawaiian criminal underworld to avenge his father’s murder.
Movie Review
Here we are offered an extremely irregular film, which at times comes across as a TV production, and at others surprises with good dialogues and photography. It combines simple and easy scenes with hackneyed plots that seem to have a failed ulterior motive, failed in the sense that they are diluted and disappear in what is a simple thriller, with a retro 90’s touch, maybe even 80’s (you decide).
Its strongpoint: John Travolta taking on the role as the kingpin, big kahuna in Hawaii. Let’s admit it,...

"Are you dangerous?" "Not to my friends." Such bland dialogue. Saban Films has revealed an official trailer for a film titled Paradise City, an action crime thriller arriving in theaters this November. A new film from the director of such classics as A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, The Blob, The Mask, Eraser, and The Scorpion King - he's been laying low since that last one. Ryan Swan must carve his way through the Hawaiian crime world to wreak vengeance on the kingpin who murdered his father. After being threatened by a ruthless power broker, it appears Ryan and his team are all out of options — until an excursion to the closely guarded island community of Paradise City unites them with an unforeseen ally. The film stars John Travolta & Bruce Willis, along with Blake Jenner, Praya Lundberg, Lorenzo Antonucci, Amber Abara, and Stephen Dorff. This looks as derivative...

For his freshman film director Adam Stilwell (The Triangle) teams up with writer Kent Harper, who co-wrote the brilliant Surveillance with director Jenifer Lynch back in 2008, for The Voices. A film that feels like something we’ve seen a million times before but one that, ultimately, is something completely unexpected.
A psychological horror, The Voices tells the story of Sara who wakes up to find herself in bed, with vague recollections of her situation and her life. She’s told by her husband Nick that he found her in the bathtub having tried to commit suicide following her problems dealing with the death of her parents. "This is my legacy." Saban Films has unveiled the official trailer for Deadlock, another "why did you make this film, Bruce!?" action thriller starring Bruce Willis. We keep posting these trailers for bad Bruce Willis films because they're so remarkably bad and yet he keeps starring in them over and over and over. Deadlock stars Willis as Ron Whitlock, described as a wanted criminal leading a team of mercenaries on a mission of vengeance. Convinced that the government is working against them, the merciless group brutally seizes an energy plant and holds everyone inside hostage. So uh, he's a bad guy this time? Patrick Muldoon plays a retired army ranger who must take them out to save a nearby town. The cast includes Matthew Marsden, Lorenzo Antonucci, Ava Paloma, and Jared Bankens. Yeah, this looks as bad as it sounds - just watch the kick ass short film called Deadlock instead.
