Exclusive: Nadia Forde has joined the cast of Conflict, the Finnish political thriller series from Rebellion director Aku Louhimies and XYZ Films.
Forde, who starred in Once Upon a Time in London, will play Claire Belfort, a daughter of a high-profile American family who gets caught up in the conflict.
Louhimies, the Finnish multi-hyphenate, announced Conflict two years ago and the six-part series is now shooting in Helsinki. It will premiere next year in Finnish, Swedish and English.
The story follows an unknown military unit as it invades a peaceful seaside town in Finland. All residents are taken hostage, including Annika Berg, a Finnish army soldier.
In seconds, her military exercise turns into a real crisis, with true casualties. No one knows if this is an isolated incident or the first step towards a global conflict.
Other cast includes Peter Franzén (Vikings), Sara Soulié (The Man Who Died), and Pirkka-Pekka Petelius...

Simon Rumley (director of Red, White & Blue, Fashionista & Crowhurst) has begun a six week shoot on the brutal gangster thriller Once Upon a Time in London – for Gateway Films – which dramatises the violent reign of two of London’s most notorious gangsters, Billy Hill (Leo Gregory) and Jack ‘Spot’ Comer (Terry Stone), charting the legendary rise and fall of a nationwide criminal empire that lasted until the mid-fifties and which paved the way for the notorious Kray Twins and The Richardsons.
Director and co-writer Simon Rumley commented:
Having spent the last decade or so writing and directing thematically disparate but collectively extreme dramas, it makes absolute sense for me to progress to the gangster genre where love, lust, greed, paranoia, betrayal and violence are every day occurrences. The story of Jack Spot Comer, Billy Hill and their respective battles to become King of London’s Underworld has remained one of Britain’s most dynamic,...

"He's a lovely guy - as they all are. But there won't be… not on my half anyway!"

The remaining I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! campmates spoke about their jungle highs and lows in tonight's show (December 6).
Edwina Currie got the ball rolling by comparing the experience to "childbirth".
"When I first entered the jungle, I had no idea how I was going to cope," she admitted. "Nothing compares to it, apart from childbirth perhaps.
"I think I knew I was definitely going to be one of the mouthy ones. Almost immediately, I found myself in a row. Kendra went pow. She was a lot less aggressive after that."
Edwina then turned on her frisky side and shared what she found was the best bit of nature.
She said: "I've loved being here admiring nature, trees, breeze. The best bit of nature, of course, is blokes with relatively little on. Absolute bliss."
Foggy was next up to share his thoughts, saying that he hopes...

Speaking to Ant & Dec, Vicki said it feels "fabulous" to be out but said she will "miss the eye candy - Foggy and Jake in their pants in the morning!"
When asked about the cooking situation and near arguments with Melanie Sykes taking charge, she added: "I found it frustrating, not having an input. I cook all the time at home. The trouble is Mel likes to do it all and that became difficult. If you voiced something different there was then a tension which there shouldn't be.

We'd never want to worry Ant & Dec, but we can't keep this in any more - I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! has a problem.
The Trials are still entertaining. The conversations are still compelling. Ant & Dec are still at their best on this show. In fact, everything was swimming along very nicely indeed until the eliminations began earlier this week, and we started scratching our heads with our mouths agape.
Because all of the best campmates are leaving.
We thought Jimmy Bullard might have been a fluke. A horrendous, 'wait what' moment, but a fluke all the same. For one thing, only four campmates were eligible to be voted out and all of them were big characters (except our pick for elimination, Tinchy Stryder, who presumably has a vote-happy fanbase).
So while we were saddened that bantergate had probably lost Jimmy the competition and disappointed that we...

Michael Buerk has become the third person to be voted off I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
The eight campers all faced the public vote following Nadia Forde's exit on last night's (December 2) show.
The third public vote pitted him against Edwina Currie but it was the journalist who was ultimately voted off.
Asked what he thought of his experience, Michael told hosts Ant & Dec: "I thought they'd all be t***sers, and not all of them were.
"I thought the regime was hard but the people were better."
He also said that the lack of food was hard to deal with, reflecting: "It's amazing how it alters your mood. People get down when they are hungry."
Michael added that he wants Jake to win the show.

Ant and Dec led the camp in a fond remembrance of Nadia's time in the jungle after her departure.

"Now that Nadia's left, I think Jake is maybe going to start flirting with Kendra, but he adores Melanie as well," Vicki Michelle predicted.

"Tension has been high in the jungle at times between different campmates and when you're living on top of people, it's hard for there not to be any tension," she said.
"I've tried to try and stay out of it as much as possible, and I do think that the Jimmy thing has been twisted a little bit. I've only just realised what that was when I got out."

Nadia Forde has become the second person to be voted off I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.
The nine campers all faced the second public vote, following Jimmy Bullard's shock elimination last night (December 1).
I'm a Celebrity's Jimmy Bullard interviewed: 'I can be a bit of a nightmare'
Ant and Dec returned to the camp to reveal the result, which saw the Irish model and singer up against Us reality star Kendra Wilkinson, with Nadia ultimately exiting.
Speaking to the hosts, Nadia described the experience as a "roller coaster", adding: "I'm feeling amazing! I can't wait to ring my family."
Admitting that she had entered the jungle scared of "everything", she looked back at her experience in trials, including being buried with rats and spending a night with Craig Charles in the Bush Bunker.

The I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! campsite got very emotional in tonight's episode as the group were given the chance to win letters from home.
Each celebrity was told that they had the opportunity to win a letter for one of their fellow campmates; to do so, they had one minute to memorise six out of eight words on a page before it went into a shredder.
Jake Quickenden won a letter for Mel Sykes, saying: "I was buzzing to win her a letter. I knew how much it would mean to her."
Elsewhere, Edwina Currie and Tinchy Stryder won each other's messages, Vicki Michelle won Michael Buerk's, Carl Fogarty won Jake's and Nadia Forde successfully got Foggy's.
But there was bad news for Kendra Wilkinson - who both failed to get Nadia's message and didn't get her own as Mel stumbled - and Vicki, as...

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Mel Sykes sniped at Vicki Michelle again on tonight's show as the hunger really began to hit her.
Mel, a member of the Wombat tribe, woke up feeling disheartened by the group's bad luck in the challenges so far and things got worse when she discovered that the Galahs were going to be treated to a breakfast.
"I hope we get a proper breakfast as opposed to a little thing," Vicki said excitedly, but the comment did not go down well with Mel.
"I'm going to lose it in a minute," she said as she walked off to the dunny, followed by Nadia Forde.
"It's just hard to listen to Vicki moaning about food all the time," Mel continued. "She hasn't got a clue. I could never be that insensitive.

Even Edwina herself had to agree as she said: "It was quite exciting. I could feel my pulse racing."

Tinchy Stryder, Melanie Sykes, Carl 'Foggy' Fogarty and Jimmy Bullard are the first celebrities up for elimination on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, after losing the tribal Terror Tomb challenge.
In the trial, the Galah and Wombat tribes were faced with identical tombs in two different locations. Each of the celebrities had to spend 15 minutes inside coffins within the tomb, with the aim of sticking it out longer than a member of the opposite team.
After the 15 minutes were up, a key dropped into each of the coffins, and the celebs would race to find a hidden lock which would then turn on a light and they would be released.
Michael Buerk, Vicki Michelle, Kendra Wilkinson, Nadia Forde, Edwina Currie and Jake Quickenden won the majority of three rounds and were awarded immunity.
So Foggy, Jimmy, Melanie and Tinchy face elimination, but who do you want to see leave the show?...

I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! star Kendra Wilkinson has revealed what it was like to film a reality television show while her husband Hank Baskett was accused of cheating.
Talking about the finale of her reality series Kendra on Top, Kendra was asked by Nadia Forde to explain what had happened, while Melanie Sykes listened in.
Kendra explained: "You want me to tell you? This season we were dealing with our problems on TV. You know, with the alleged cheating. Very, very dramatic. Like real fights, real emotions."
Melanie then asked if the couple had their arguments in front of the cameras, to which Kendra replied: "We had one, two, yeah we had a couple on it.
"We started the season with me finding out through the media that my husband potentially, allegedly cheated on me. So I snap. I just snap. I grabbed my wedding rings and my husband's like.

The I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! tribes went head to head in another challenge in tonight's episode.
With the Wombats in the lead - with six members compared to the Galahs' four - both teams had to pick two celebrities to compete in the 'Time Flies' contest.
Both tribes were concerned about saving their strongest members for the final challenge the following day, so the Galahs eventually sent Nadia Forde and Vicki Michelle while the Wombats plumped for Jimmy Bullard and Michael Buerk.
Each of the celebrities had to sit in a box. Behind them were two clocks, and they had to stop the hand from hitting a mark at the top; if the clock hand reached the top, they would be out of the game.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! was forced to cut a challenge short in tonight's episode after a huge storm erupted over camp.
The extreme weather called an end to the Shed of Dread task, which saw Jimmy Bullard and Carl Fogarty being taken in a helicopter to a dark shed full of jungle critters.
The duo were informed that they would have to stay in the shed for 12 hours, but their fellow celebrities were able to cut that time down by sacrificing items that were important to them.
Jake Quickenden gave up his fan, Melanie Sykes handed over her tweezer, Michael Buerk reluctantly sacrificed his chair and Edwina Currie and Vicki Michelle agreed to do without makeup.
That reduced Bullard and Fogarty's time in the shed from 12 to six hours, but the celebrities were then told they could reduce the time to just three hours if they sacrificed postcards from home.

Tinchy explained that there is a rhythm, tune and flow to rap and advised Michael to say a line about himself to a beat, prompting him to come up with: "I'm Michael and I'm real cool, stuck in the jungle, feel a real fool. My pants are red and I have no bed."

The dust has yet to settle after Kendra Wilkinson and Edwina Currie's explosive fight in the jungle earlier this week.
Michael Buerk, who had been chatting to Wilkinson before the argument with the ex-mp began, wondered whether the former's "ballistic" reaction was "because Edwina is not particularly tactful or because Kendra is good at reality TV".

To commiserate no I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here tonight (booooooooo, football!) we thought we'd take a quick peek at what was going on in the jungle.
And it would seem that we've mainly been missing campmates showering or looking pensive in hammocks.
Enjoy!
Warning: Jimmy Bullard's bare ass (again!) to follow:
Jake Quickenden, still reeling from his Critter Cube victory, was working out in the jungle.
The former X Factor finalist was seen clambering up bamboo and lifting logs. Is it trial preparation or just a daily workout?
Jimmy Bullard enjoyed another naked shower today and a skinny dip with Carl 'Foggy' Fogarty.
We have no idea what Foggy's up to...
Nadia Forde also enjoyed a jungle wash in an animal-print bikini.
Ditto Kendra Wilkinson in a black swimsuit (perhaps she's washing Edwina Currie right out of her hair).

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Jimmy Bullard triumphed in his surprise Bushtucker Trial.
Jake Quickenden had already won ten stars in last night's live Trial when hosts Ant and Dec told Bullard that as the celebrity with the second highest amount of public votes, he could win drinks for the camp in a bonus challenge.
'Misery Match' gave Bullard one minute to hang coloured rectangles on coloured hooks in a perspex box... filled with three pythons.
Bullard, who admitted that the Trial was his "worst nightmare" thanks to his fear of snakes, failed on his first attempt but succeeded on his second go.
He leapt into Quickenden's arms in triumph, adding: "I thought I would! I'm so happy."
The rest of the celebrities were also thrilled that they would be getting drinks with their dinner, while Quickenden was proud of his success in the live Trial.

X Factor contestant Jake Quickenden certainly made an impact on the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! campmates during tonight's episode (November 21).
But as the 26-year-old led an impromptu workout session, it soon became clear that some residents of Croc Creek had taken more kindly to his arrival in the jungle than others.
In an attempt to welcome the newcomer, Jimmy Bullard complemented Jake on his sit-up technique, but a visibly disgruntled Carl 'Foggy' Fogarty simply mumbled: "Average."
"Foggy had the biceps and physique up until now," explained Vicki Michelle. "Now we've got Jake in, like a Greek God with an even better physique, so there could be a bit of competition there."
As Jake moved onto press-ups, Foggy approached and challenged him to do them with his full weight on his back.
Jake agreed and continued to keep pace as a surprised Foggy laid on top of him.

Actress Vicki Michelle, who had been languishing with Craig in the Celebrity Slammer before entering Croc Creek, lamented: "It's such a shame he's had to go, it's a huge loss to the camp because he was a lovely personality, cheeky chappy and we're all going to miss him, we got really upset.
"In the Slammer you've got nothing else to do but talk about your lives and he's such a nice guy."
Rapper Tinchy Stryder also revealed his upset at the news and added...

Jake Quickenden lolling seductively in the surf, Nadia Forde beaming in a red bikini, and poor Edwina Currie kissing a koala called Rogue before he urinated all over her - these are just some of the cheesiest pre-jungle photoshoots.
Unbelievably, cheesier and even more staged snapshots of former I'm a Celebrity contestants over the years exist, and we've found them.
Let's celebrate with 13 of the silliest and seriously staged shoots from before and after the jungle below:
1. Edwina Currie
Everyone knows the old showbiz adage - never work with children or animals. But that didn't hinder former politician Edwina Currie - confirmed for her jungle debut tonight - who happily puckered up to a koala aptly named Rogue as he urinated all over her top. Currie took part in the shoot at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary in Queensland yesterday (November 19).
2. Nadia Forde

Former MP Edwina Currie will be swapping politics for the jungle when she enters I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! alongside X Factor star Jake Quickenden. Why did the 68-year-old decide to tackle the jungle reality show? We caught up with Edwina Down Under for the lowdown…
Why did you decide to sign up for I'm a Celebrity?
"I turned I'm a Celebrity down in the very beginning. I was one of the first people to be asked. I've got a letter from 10 years ago saying, 'Would you like to come and do a TV programme in Northern Australia?' At that time, it was made near Darwin and my husband was very excited about it. He said, 'Wow, this is great! We can go to North Australia.' But I said, 'No, I don't fancy it. Sorry.' I turned it down. Now, it's a slightly different story.

Craig Charles and Nadia Forde have been released from the Slammer after an overnight challenge on I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.
The pair spent the night in a dark bunker which slowly filled with rats and cockroaches.
They had to find stars and send them down a shoot that led straight to Crock Creek, where camp mates received them.
Nadia said during the challenge: "The Slammer's looking really good right now."
Although they were terrified, they successfully claimed seven stars out of a possible ten.
Speaking afterwards, Nadia said: "I was proud of myself but I was a bit of a wimp and I did cry, so I'm not proud of that.
"I was experiencing sheer terror," added Nadia. "I was having a Gemma moment."
I'm a Celebrity continues Thursday (November 20) at 9pm on ITV.

The Towie star, who was confirmed by ITV to have left the reality TV show earlier today, complained in the Bush Telegraph: "I can't do this, I've never felt so unhappy in all my life, I can't help how I'm feeling.
"I have to go, it's been three days now, you have to get me out of here, I don't want to do it any longer I just have to get out."
She has continued to languish in the Celebrity Slammer along with Corrie's Craig Charles and Irish model Nadia Forde. Carl Fogarty and actress Vicki Michelle were previously rescued by the free team members of Croc Creek.
Gemma added: "It's making me feel panicked and stressed, this is terrible, it's not normal, it's not about food,...

Michael Buerk
Age: 68
Famous for: BBC newsreader and war reporter
Phobias: Michael very sensibly says: "There is no point saying you hate spiders as the next thing you know, you will be banged up with them." He is allergic to cats, but doesn't think there'll be any in the jungle. We'll see.
Fact #1: Michael is missing his twins' birthday to be in the jungle.
Fact #2: Michael inspired Band Aid in 1984 with his reporting of the Ethiopian famine.
