- Park So-Dam was schoolmates with actress Kim Go-eun. The 2 actresses are the same age and attended the same university.
- Unlike on Parasite, where she plays the younger daughter, she is the oldest of 3 children in real life. She has a younger sister and brother, with her brother being the youngest of the 3.
- Before starring in Parasite, Park So Dam was already familiar with Bong Joon Ho movies. One of the works that she liked the most is Memories of Murder (2003). In fact, she told W magazine that she was too scared to see the thriller properly when he was younger, and she finally managed to re-watch it recently.
