Indian media and entertainment company IN10 Media Network has launched its film division, MovieVerse Studios.
The film studio aims to “produce fresh and engaging content in Hindi and regional languages that connect with theatre-going audiences and those on streaming platforms,” the studio said in a statement.
The studio has revealed a diverse slate across genres. These include an action survival rescue drama based on a true story in partnership with Bake My Cake Films, a company headed by Sandeep Leyzell and Shobhna Yadav and which has hit films like “Batla House,” “Dasvi” and the upcoming “Tehran” to its credit. It will be directed by Umang Vyas.
The slate also includes a thriller in partnership with Faith Films’ Viki Rajani, producer of “Table No. 21,” “R…Rajkumar” and “Munna Michael,” which will be directed by Pavan Kripalani; and a supernatural drama with Ding Entertainment, whose Tanveer Bookwala has produced series “Asur: Welcome to Your Dark Side...

Bollywood action star John Abraham has wrapped up shooting for his upcoming geo-political thriller ‘Tehran’.
The makers have released an interesting video to announce the wrap. The video sees ‘Tehran’ principal cast and crew wield the clap one last time as it wraps the final leg of shooting.
While the video features John in a raw, rugged and intense avatar, Manushi sports a fresh and different look too.
‘Tehran’ is a film inspired by true events. The project is proving to be a great learning experience for the actress, as she earlier said.

Former Miss World and Bollywood actress Manushi Chhillar, who made her debut with ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, has been signed with John Abraham for ‘Tehran’, a film inspired by true events. The project is proving to be a great learning experience for the actress.
Talking about her experience on the project so far, Manushi said: “‘Tehran’ has been an exciting learning experience for me. I love how differently I get to showcase myself as an actor.”
She is living every moment of her journey as a growing actress, adding further: “Since my career in cinema has just begun, every day feels like my first day on set. There is so much to absorb and take mental notes of.”
