After Euphoria made her a recognizable face in Hollywood, Sydney Sweeney’s subsequent efforts in the award winning The White Lotus and the romantic comedy Anyone But You have proved that she is well on her way to becoming a superstar. Apart from her obvious talent, it is Sweeney’s smoldering looks and s*xy appearance that have been major talking points.

The actor has also performed her share of intimate and n*de scenes, but has always maintained that she would only agree to do so if her character demanded it. In her latest film, Immaculate, director Michael Mohan elaborated on his reasons for not including scenes of this nature not just for the character, but also with regard to Sweeney’s image.

What’s really great about the world of television is that it offers you so many different life scenarios that sometimes you forget it’s only fiction. Or on the contrary, the picture we see on screen is so far from reality you find yourself frustrated when a minor inconvenience enters your life.
The same goes even about TV friendships: they are either ideal, where every character is ready to do whatever it takes to make his friend happy, or they are really toxic. One of the brightest examples of such friendships is Euphoria’s Maddy and Cassie. The betrayals they went through destroying each other’s lives, while declaring unconditional love to each other before is just scary…
But there are even worse stories: let’s check out these 5 other couples that have love-hate relationships.

Last year, New Line Cinema went all-in on a partnership with Barbarian (watch it Here) writer/director Zach Cregger and the film’s producers at BoulderLight Pictures. New Line came out the winner in a bidding war over Cregger’s next film, a mysterious horror project called Weapons… which was, at one point, set to star Pedro Pascal of The Last of Us and Renate Reinsve of The Worst Person in the World. Pascal had to leave the project so he could star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe reboot of Fantastic Four instead – and even though that much larger production hasn’t started filming yet, as of right now it looks like Fantastic Four is going to beat Weapons to the screen by about six months! While that superhero movie is set to reach theatres on July 25, 2025, New Line has announced (via Deadline) that Weapons has been given a theatrical...

Zendaya has become one of the most influential celebrities in Hollywood. She has established herself as a force to be reckoned with through her acting skills, being regarded as an extremely talented actress. While her professional life has certainly earned her a reputation, she is also well-known for her fashion sense.
A still from Euphoria
The actress is a respected figure in the world of fashion, always making a statement with the clothing she adorns. However, such acclaim did not come easy, and the actress had to work towards it for many years. Recently, a close friend, Law Roach, spoke about a time when she wasn’t as successful and what her fashion choices were then.
It would seem that five brands refused to work with her when she was still starting out, and Zendaya held a grudge.

They join the two stars and the previously cast Cleopatra Coleman, Amaka Okafor, Sopé Dìrísù, Dagmara Dominczyk and Chris Coy.
Bateman and Law will play brothers in Black Rabbit. Law’s character, Jake, is the owner of a New York hotspot, and when he lets his turbulent brother (Bateman) back into his life, he opens the door to escalating dangers that that threaten everything he’s built.
Among those dangers, based on descriptions for some of the new castmembers, is the criminal underworld.

A new adult animation limited series from Community and Rick and Morty writer Dan Guterman is coming to Netflix.
Carol & The End Of The World is set to debut on Netflix with 10 episodes on December 15. Martha Kelly will star as the titular character Carol.

A lot has been said about Sydney Sweeney in recent years. The actor skyrocketed to fame after delivering strong performances in Euphoria and The White Lotus. But many people have expressed concern with the way Sweeney’s character, Cassie Howard, has been portrayed in Euphoria. They have noted that the actor has had far more nude scenes and sex scenes than many of her castmates. But Sweeney has been candid about the fact that she feels safe filming intimate scenes on Euphoria’s set. Unfortunately, the same thing can’t be said for other projects she’s worked on.

With two-time Best Drama Actress Emmy winner and reigning 2022 champ, Zendaya (“Euphoria”), out of contention, this year’s race is wide open. The early leader in our overall odds is Melanie Lynskey, who plays adult Shauna in the Showtime series “Yellowjackets.” If she prevails, she will become just the second winner for the network in this category, following Claire Danes who won for “Homeland” in 2012 and 2013.
“Yellowjackets” tells the story of a wildly talented high school girls soccer team that becomes the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the Canadian wilderness. With dueling timelines that show the characters in the past and present day, the series made an impressive first showing at last year’s Emmys, earning seven bids including Best Drama Series and Best Drama Actress for Lynskey.

By now, most Sydney Sweeney fans know about her love of cars. While she’s a successful working actor now, one of Sweeney’s original dreams was to be a racecar driver. And while she never got into the sport, her love of vehicles has manifested itself in new ways in her adulthood. The actor has gained quite a following because of her passion for restoring vintage cars. Sweeney has invested numerous hours into rebuilding her 1969 Ford Bronco and her 1964 Ford Mustang. She even brought her cars to the Euphoria set so she could work on them in between filming scenes.

It seems that a love of cars runs in Sweeney’s family. She grew up in Spokane, Washington, around quite a few family members who were mechanics.

To further promote her collaboration with Frankies Bikinis drop, Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney looked sexy as she posed with another blonde model for the company’s Instagram.
Part two of the photoshoot included Sweeney lounging on a couch in a white one-piece swimsuit adorned with kiss marks while another blonde model kneeled over her with a video camera. The swimsuit was very reminiscent of the one Cassie Howard, Sweeney’s Euphoria character, wore in season two.
Part one showed Sweeney lounging seductively in her white bikini.
Sweeney told Elle she was inspired for the collection by her love of the water. “I grew up on the water, always running around in a bikini. If I wasn’t swimming in the lake or the ocean, I was skiing or attempting to surf,” she said. “So there was always a part of me that wanted to create something that truly felt like me,...

People showing up at your door without warning can put you in an imposition. Meanwhile, people arriving at your place soaked in blood in another story altogether. What’s your first question for this guest? Do you help them hide the body? Julianne Moore is about to find out because Apple Original Films is ready to cast the leads of Echo Valley, a thriller with a script from Mare of Easttown creator Brad Ingelsby. The project stars Moore and Sydney Sweeney as a mother-daughter duo. Michael Pearce directs from Ingelsby’s script, with production from Scott Free Films and The Walsh Company.
In Echo Valley, Moore plays Kate Garrett, a woman recovering from a personal tragedy while boarding and training horses at Echo Valley Far, twenty-two remote, Bob Ross painting-worthy acres in Southeastern Pennsylvania. In the middle of the night, Kate’s recalcitrant daughter, Claire (Sweeney), is covered in blood at her doorstep beside herself.

It seems that every day Sydney Sweeney is adding new things to her resume. Just yesterday, the Emmy-nominated actor announced her latest collaboration with Frankies Bikinis. Through her partnership with the buzzy brand, Sweeney will be debuting her own personal collection of swimwear that will encourage consumers to feel sexy, confident, and romantic. And since Sweeney is known for her hands-on approach, it’s no surprise that she had a direct hand in the details of the collection. In fact, Sweeney even used her own lips to make a print for one of the pieces.

So just how did this collaboration begin? Turns out that Euphoria is to thank. Fans of the show may recall that in the sophomore season, Sweeney’s character, Cassie Howard, donned a skimpy pink swimsuit in order to impress Nate Jacobs.

Sydney Sweeney has certainly stolen her fair share of scenes throughout her tenure on Euphoria. From proclaiming, “I Have Never, Ever, Been Happier!” to drunkenly puking in the hot tub, it’s clear why many consider the actor to be the breakout star of the series. Sweeney’s meticulous preparation process ensures that she’s able to give each scene her all. But, Euphoria fans haven’t even seen the scene that the actor auditioned with that earned her a spot in the cast.

The Weeknd Fires Back at Rolling Stone Report Claiming ‘The Idol’ Is in Turmoil: ‘Did We Upset You?’
The Weeknd has responded to a report from Rolling Stone claiming that his upcoming HBO series “The Idol,” created with “Euphoria’s” Sam Levinson, has “gone wildly, disgustingly off the rails.”
Posting a clip from the series to Instagram, Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye tagged Rolling Stone and wrote, “Did we upset you?” In the scene, a character played by Dan Levy pitches Tesfaye and Lily-Rose Depp’s pop star character Jocelyn to do a photo shoot for the cover of Rolling Stone. Tesfaye, who plays a modern-day cult leader named Tedros, says, “Rolling Stone? Aren’t they a little irrelevant? … Rolling Stone has 6 million followers on Instagram, half of them probably bots. And Jocelyn has 78 million followers, all real I’d assume. So she does a photo shoot, she tags them, they get her followers. More money for Rolling Stone, nothing for Jocelyn.”

If Babylon showed how hard LA partied in the roaring 1920s, The Idol is about to show how hard LA folks party in the roaring 2020s. The new HBO show is the brainchild of the “sick and twisted minds” of Euphoria creator Sam Levinson and his new star, The Weeknd. HBO is no stranger to pushing the envelope with its late-night content, as it often presents adult situations without glamour to a higher prestige than the reputable Cinemax late-night sleaze, God bless ’em. Rolling Stone reports that The Idol is so much more shocking than Euphoria that it is being described as “torture porn.”
The new show features The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp in a dark and perverted tale “that follows pop superstar Jocelyn (Depp) as she navigates the seedy underbelly of the music industry and falls under the spell of Tedros (Tesfaye), a mysterious owner of a popular L.

HBO’s “The Idol” has been plagued with production delays, costly reshoots, last-minute script rewrites and a “sense of chaos” on set, per a new report by Rolling Stone, which the cable network has vehemently denied.
“The creators and producers of ‘The Idol’ have been working hard to create one of HBO’s most exciting and provocative original programs,” the network’s statement to TheWrap read. “The initial approach on the show and production of the early episodes, unfortunately, did not meet HBO standards so we chose to make a change. Throughout the process, the creative team has been committed to creating a safe, collaborative, and mutually respectful working environment, and last year, the team made creative changes they felt were in the best interest of both the production and the cast and crew. We look forward to sharing ‘The Idol’ with audiences soon.”

Everything Everywhere All At Once swept away the competition at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards, collecting almost every top accolade of the night.
The film’s stars Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis all received recognition for their individual performances at Sunday (26 February) night’s show.
The comedy-drama epic also took home the award for Best Cast in a Motion Picture – the SAG equivalent of Best Picture.
Yeoh won the SAG award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a leading role, acknowledging that she had been “up against titans” in the category.
“Every one of you know, the journey, the rollercoaster ride, the ups and downs. But most important, we never give up,” she said.
“This is not just for me, this is for every little girl that looks like me. Thank you for giving me a seat at the table because so many of us need this.

Performers celebrated their own on Sunday evening as awards season rolled around to the Screen Actors Guild. And it was a very good night for Everything Everywhere All At Once, which made SAG history by scooping all four awards for which it was nominated, including ensemble.
Everything Everywhere took home the ensemble award, plus trophies for stars Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis, which certainly doesn't hurt their Oscar chances (though Quan is clearly the favourite in the Supporting Actor race at this point).
It was a strong night for A24 as a studio, taking home the majority of the film awards, including another win for Brendan Fraser in The Whale. The Banshees Of Inisherin, meanwhile, was shut out despite earning a similar number of nods to Everything Everywhere.
On the TV side, it was bad news for Better Call Saul as Ozark's Jason Bateman and The White Lotus won again.

On Sunday, Hollywood’s biggest names gathered at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Century City, California, as the 29th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, honoring the best film and TV performances of the past year, were handed out live.
For the first time since 1998, the ceremony was not broadcast on TV. Instead, it aired on Netflix’s YouTube channel after it was announced that the platform will begin streaming the ceremony live in 2024, as part of a multi-year partnership with SAG-AFTRA.
Going into the awards, “The Banshees of Inisherin” and “Everything Everywhere All at Once” both led with five nominations each, including four individual acting nods and one for ensemble. The two films tied a record previously set by “Shakespeare in Love” (1998), “Chicago” (2002), and “Doubt” (2008).
“Ozark”, meanwhile, had the most TV nominations, with four, including one for best drama ensemble, while “Barry” and “Only Murders in the Building” led the comedy categories with three each.

Zendaya, 26, joined "Aftersun" actor Paul Mescal, 27, to present outstanding performance by a female actor in a television movie or limited series on Feb. 26 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. As they made their way to the stage, Mescal seemed unsure if his copresenter needed help up the stairs (a moment Twitter users caught onto quickly).
"I relate to Paul Mescal cause I too would be nervous to be next to Zendaya," one user tweeted about the moment, with another writing, "Zendaya got Paul Mescal nervous and giggling, he's just like me."
Zendaya wore a pink, black, and blue colorblock gown - an outfit change from her carpet look - while Mescal was clad in an all-black look. Ultimately, Jessica Chastain won the award for "George & Tammy."

For most of the video game of The Last of Us, players play as Joel. But there’s a chunk of gameplay in which the action switches to Ellie’s point of view, and that’s where we land at the start of this week’s episode.
While Joel is down for the count, courtesy of the wound he sustained at the end of Episode 6, the series employs a flashback that’ll be familiar to those who’ve played Left Behind, the downloadable content (aka enhancement game) that serves as a corollary to the video game on which the show is based.

As far as SAG Awards races go, this year’s Best TV Drama Actress one is especially tricky to predict due to the fact that three of the nominees were just feted for the same roles at the 2022 Emmys. Lead and supporting TV academy honorees Zendaya (“Euphoria”) and Julia Garner (“Ozark”) not only have to face each other in this consolidated category, but are also up against featured limited series Emmy champ Jennifer Coolidge (“The White Lotus”), whose show is now classified as a drama due to the inclusion of her character in both of its seasons. In this case, the difficult task of settling on a prediction calls for an analysis of whether or not Zendaya or Garner can reasonably expect one of their drama Emmy wins to translate to a SAG Award triumph.
