“All right, you primitive screwheads! You see this? This is my autograph!” Or is it? Bruce Campbell gave some fans some not-so-groovy news over the weekend after they tried showing off an autograph from Ash himself.
On Saturday, a pair of horror fans that go by Frightful Film Fiends on social media posted a photo of the cast of Ash vs Evil Dead that also purported to hold autographs from Bruce Campbell, Ray Santiago (Pablo Simon Bolivar) and Dana DeLorenzo (Kelly Maxwell). They enthusiastically captioned the photo on Twitter: “We have finally received this wonderful image from one of my favorite shows of all time – Ash vs Evil Dead! Complete with full signatures from the one & only ghostbeaters themselves @GroovyBruce @ImDanaDeLorenzo & @RealRaySantiago ! Thanks guys! You all are pretty groovy!”
Unfortunately, at least one of the signatures was forged, and for Bruce Campbell, the phony autograph was easier to spot...

Horror junkies will always love their franchises, especially ones whose installments are few enough in number that they manage to avoid being run into the ground. Evil Dead is one such property, and the first look at Evil Dead: The Game has fans almost as excited as they would be if Sam Raimi announced he was directing another movie.
The teaser trailer shows some pre-alpha footage from the game that perfectly recreates the sinister setting and iconic imagery from the first two films, such as the isolated cabin, the Necronomicon, the chained cellar, the white-eyed mounted deer head, and, of course, the Oldsmobile. Fans were suitably excited about the reveal, and they made sure everyone knew about it, as you can see below.
And just like that, nothing else matters.

As Deadites, summoned by the Necronomicon Ex Mortis, surround the cabin in the woods, we get our first look at the game’s rendering of the beloved hero, who closely resembles a young Campbell. As well as Ash, fans will be pleased to note that Kelly Maxwell (Dana DeLorenzo) from TV’s Ash vs.

There will be no fourth season for Starz’s Ash Vs Evil Dead.
The premium cabler has opted not to move forward with a Season 4 of Sam Raimi’s horror comedy starring Bruce Campbell, Lucy Lawless and Ray Santiago, and the Season 3 finale on April 29 will serve as the series ender.
“Ash v Evil Dead has taken audiences on a wild ride for three seasons thanks to the fantastic performances and creative efforts of Sam, Bruce, Rob and the entire cast and crew. We are proud to send the show out with a bang…and a splat,” said Carmi Zlotnik, President of Programming for Starz.
Campbell also tweeted his farewell to “the role of a lifetime.”

While chatting with Dana DeLorenzo about the return of Kelly Maxwell in the third season of Starz' insanely entertaining splatterfest Ash Vs Evil Dead, she hands down won the title of the most enthusiastic, generous interviewee I've ever spoken to.
