After being saved by the “Ding Dong Keep It On” bell on “New York Night,” Medusa was on a mission to prove she deserved her spot in Wednesday night’s “The Masked Singer” finale. She clawed her way back into the competition, taking out Gargoyle and Mantis in the “Battle of the Saved.” Next, the snake-headed songstress belted her way through the “Quarter Finals (British Invasion Night)” and sent home California Roll in the “Semi-Finals,” the quintet that originally defeated her.
With just Macaw standing between Medusa and the Golden Mask trophy, she wowed panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger with performances of “Elastic Heart” by Sia and “Welcome to the Black Parade” by My Chemical Romance. She said after the latter, “This means so much to me, and, the fact that I got to end my journey with my sister’s favorite song, and,...

It was déjà vu for David Archuleta on Wednesday night’s finale of “The Masked Singer.” The 32-year old performer who had been masquerading as Macaw all season finished in second place to Medusa, the same position he landed on Season 7 of “American Idol” when he lost to David Cook. His emotional journey of self-discovery ended with performances of “Hold Back the River” by James Bay and “All By Myself” by Eric Carmen. Panelists Nicole Scherzinger and Ken Jeong correctly guessed the musician’s identity, but Robin Thicke and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg were off the mark.
“We knew we were coming on this, going out of our comfort zone and doing something different,” David told host Nick Cannon during his unmasked interview. “I didn’t know it was going to be so much fun. It’s just been healing being able to be the Macaw.”

Briggs, as Medusa, won this season’s top prize and was finally unmasked on Wednesday night’s finale, along with runner-up David Archuleta, revealed as the Macaw.
Briggs, who performed the most of any contestant this season, sealed her victory with performances of “Elastic Heart,” by Sia, and “Welcome to the Black Parade,” by My Chemical Romance. Pentatonix is pretty easy to recognize, as perhaps the best-known a cappella group performing today. So from the start, it was pretty easy to tell it was them on “The Masked Singer” – and indeed, the five-person group was unmasked as California Roll on Thursday’s show, which also doubled as the Season 9 semifinals.

Adam Lambert is putting his skills to the ultimate test on this week’s “That’s My Jam,” when a spin of the Wheel of Music challenges him to impersonate music legend, Cher.
In an exclusive clip shared with TheWrap ahead of Monday’s episode of the NBC series, Simu Liu and Halle Bailey battle it out against Chlӧe Bailey and Lambert on the NBC game show. Lambert’s pull of the mic to spin the wheel lands on the wheel of musical impressions.
If impersonating Cher wasn’t enough pressure, the “Whataya Want From Me” singer is tasked with singing “The Muffin Man” à la Cher — a prospect that sends both Lambert and host/executive producer Jimmy Fallon into laughter.
“Do you have a Cher in you?” Fallon asks Lambert, who gets into character with a classic Cher expression. “I got it,” Lambert exclaims as he heads to the stage.

Two all-new celebrities in disguise took on the reigning champ, Dandelion, for “Masked Singer in Space” on Wednesday’s “The Masked Singer.” After a performance of “Venus” by Bananarama, Lamp advanced to the Battle Royale where she got her lights cut off by UFO. The disguised celebrity pulled off her mask to reveal actress, director and author Melissa Joan Hart. The clues were obvious to all of the panelists except for Ken Jeong, who incorrectly guessed Oscar nominee Michelle Williams.
“This was something that I wanted to do for my kids,” Melissa told host Nick Cannon during her unmasked interview. “I wanted to overcome something. I have never sang in front of people before. It is terrifying to me! This is like overcoming a fear and, I did it, guys! I didn’t fall. I didn’t vomit.” She then confessed, “The lamp was sort of a giveaway too. Two all-new celebrities in disguise took on the reigning champ, Dandelion, for “Masked Singer in Space” on Wednesday’s “The Masked Singer.” After a performance of “Starlight” by Muse, Dandelion came in third place behind UFO and Lamp. The whimsical weed pulled off her mask to reveal actress, author and singer Alicia Witt. Panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg and Nicole Scherzinger were all gobsmacked when Ken Jeong was the only one to correctly guess the “Walking Dead” star.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched the Season 9, episode 9 of “The Masked Singer,” which aired April 12 on Fox.
It was “Masked Singer in Space Night,” but “The Masked Singer” could have also been celebrating “’90s Night.” That’s because the two celebrities unmasked on Wednesday’s episodes were both TV stars from that era: Melissa Joan Hart (of “Clarissa Explains It All” and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” fame) and Alicia Witt. Hart was revealed to be Lamp, while Witt was Dandelion.
Witt had won the previous week as Dandelion, but her journey ended here. For Dandelion, panelist Ken Jeong guessed Witt right. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg thought it was Milla Jovovich. Robin Thicke went with Sara Bareilles and Nicole Scherzinger named Zooey Deschanel.
For Lamp, McCarthy Wahlberg, Thicke and Scherzinger all got it right with Hart. Jeong went rogue with Michelle Williams.

Two all-new celebrities in disguise took on the reigning champ, Doll, for “Warner Bros. The towering toy pulled off their mask to reveal Twisted Sister frontman and rock icon Dee Snider. Panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger were all gobsmacked to see they were wrong about their predictions.
“I couldn’t believe you guys didn’t get it,” Dee said to the panel during his unmasked interview with host Nick Cannon. “You were circling around it. But let me tell you — Gene Simmons, Iggy Pop, no one could wear pumps like I did. And by the way, ladies, it’s like riding a bike. I wore them in the 70s. It all came back to me once I put them on.

Three all new celebrities in disguise took took the stage for “80s Night” on Wednesday’s “The Masked Singer.” After a performance of “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper, Scorpio advanced to the Battle Royale where she got her stinger snipped by Doll. The venemous performer pulled off her mask to reveal “Selling Sunset” star Christine Quinn. Panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger were all stumped by the reality TV star.

Panelist Jenny McCarthy correctly guessed the TV star, but Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger were off the mark.

Wednesday is 80’s night on “The Masked Singer,” and the show is bringing out a 1980s superstar to make it official.
In the exclusive video clip above, Grammy Award-winning rapper Young Mc has everybody dancing, as he performs his 1989 hit “Bust a Move.” Back in the day, the song peaked at number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 and stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 for 39 weeks and 20 weeks in the top 40 — and obviously became a dance party staple, unless you don’t know what to do (just bust a move).
While Young Mc was rocking the crowd, of course he back-up dancers started break dancing – I mean it is 80’s night after all.
And just in case you missed last week’s episode, we finally got to see the identities of Fairy and Axolotl. You might remember, Ken Jeong was convinced Fairy was Jennifer Anniston, but it turned out it...

Two all new celebrities in disguise took on returning champ Fairy for “Country Night” on Wednesday’s “The Masked Singer.” After a performance of “Cant’ Fight the Moonlight” by LeAnn Rimes, Axolotl placed third place behind Fairy and Macaw. The adorable salamander pulled off her mask to reveal herself as WWE superstar Alexa Bliss. Panelist Jenny McCarthy correctly guessed the wrestling champion, but Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger were off the mark.
“This was something that was personal for me because I have crippling stage fright when it comes to singing,” revealed Alexa during her unmasked interview with host Nick Cannon. “I actually cried backstage before coming out here because I was so nervous. But I am just so proud of myself because I conquered my fear and y’all were so great. Everyone was so awesome. I deal with anxiety and this was something that I wanted to show.

Returning was Fairy, who faced off with Axolotl and Macaw. Axolotl was the first eliminated, and under the mask was WWE’s Alexis Cabrera, known in the ring as Alexa Bliss. Then Fairy and Macaw faced off in the Battle Royale, and the former was eliminated and revealed to be actress Holly Robinson Peete. Here, Cabrera opens up about her time on the show and how it helped her face a fear. What made you say yes to doing The Masked Singer? Alexa Bliss: I thought it would be an amazing opportunity. I’ve watched the show. I’ve had friends on the show. And it just looks like something that would be so fun to do. WWE was awesome in pitching me for the show.

You’d better be ready to, be ready to… Jump! Off of “The Masked Singer.” Actor Holly Robinson Peete, known for “21 Jump Street” among other things, was one of the two more celebrities who unmasked on Wednesday’s edition of “The Masked Singer.” Also out: WWE star Alexa Bliss, who just made headlines this week for revealing that she had been diagnosed with skin cancer, and recently underwent a procedure for it.
For Axolotl, panelist Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg got it right, naming Alexa Bliss (real names Alexis Kaufman and Alexis “Lexi” Cabrera). Robin Thicke guessed Nikki Bella. Ken Jeong thought it was Brie Bella. Nicole Scherzinger picked McKayla Maroney.

Warning: Major spoilers ahead for Wednesday night’s episode of “The Masked Singer”
The country roads took home Axolotl and Fairy on “The Masked Singer” on Wednesday night, after a fierce competition against newcomer Macaw. And, as it turns out, Axolotl was able to sneakily get some tips about the show after she signed on from two members of Nsync.
Following her performance, the judges’ guesses for Axolotl ranged from the Bella twins, Nikki and Brie, to gymnast Simone Biles. But, in the end, she was unmasked to be… WWE star Alexa Bliss. (So at least Ken Jeong was in the right realm for one of his guesses for once).
According to Bliss, part of the reason she agreed to being on the show was because she had friends who competed on it previously. And yes, once she found out she was going to compete, she was able to get...
