Colt Cabana has sued Cm Punk for breach of contract after the former WWE star promised to cover legal fees built up following a lawsuit against the two by WWE doctor Chris Amann. Cabana is suing Punk for $1.2 million. The lawsuit states that Cm Punk said he would pay for the legal fees that Colt Cabana accrued when they were sued for defamation of character after they discussed Punk’s lack of proper medical care while employed in the WWE. The original lawsuit was filed by WWE doctor Chris Amann, who claimed that the comments made on Cabana’s Art of Wrestling […]

Just one week after Dr. Chris Amann lost the court case concerning his lawsuit against Cm Punk, more bad news might be coming for the WWE ringside physician. Deadspin came out with a shocking report last Thursday that indicated that Amann had a romantic relationship with former WWE superstar Jillian Hall. This was revealed in the court case and could cost Amann his job. Amann tried to have a number of items blocked from coming up in the trial, and some of them were accepted and sealed so the public couldn’t learn about them. However, Deadspin reported that one of them […]

In another installment of the ongoing bitterness between former WWE star and the company where he earned his fame, current Ufc employee Cm Punk once again used his platform to take a shot at his ex-employer Vince McMahon.
In an interview with MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani on Helwani’s podcast The Mma Hour, Punk had this to say regarding the reaction of his new employers to his recent setback due to a back injury:
“[They handled it] wonderful, in my opinion. I was in with Dana [White] and Lorenzo [Fertitta], and we were talking, and Dr. Sanders just came up and he goes, ‘alright, here it is.’ He laid it all on the table for us. Of course, Dana lets out this big sign, and he’s like, ‘uhh, we can’t get a break.’ So immediately I do into, ‘well, maybe there’s a shot I can get? Maybe I can do cortisone,...

WWE have revealed that Neville will be sidelined for the next 2-3 months with the injury he suffered on Monday’s Raw.
WWE’s own Dr. Chris Amann confirmed to WWE.com that The Man That Gravity Forgot had fractured his ankle but that he hadn’t suffered a broken shinbone as originally reported, and he won’t need surgery.
He said;
“Neville had some repeat testing done in Orlando today which included X-Rays and a cat scan of his ankle. Upon further review, it has been determined that surgical repair of the ankle would not be necessary. Instead, he will be treated nonoperatively with a cast and crutches. The estimated return for this type of fracture is usually 2 to 3 months.”

Earlier this year, WWE’s Senior Ringside Physician, Dr. Chris Amann filed a suit against Cm Punk (Phil Brooks) and Colt Cabana (Scott Colton) for comments Punk made on Cabana’s podcast.
Among other things, the doctor took issue with how Punk described Amann’s “misdiagnosis” of a severe infection that he claims Amann considered a “fatty deposit”.
According to PWInsider.com, Punk has now officially responded to this lawsuit:
“Brooks is informed and believes that the Plaintiff collaborated, coordinated and conspired with the WWE in bad faith to prepare, bring and pursue this lawsuit in retaliation against Brooks and Colton for the embarrassment that the Podcast caused the WWE through and as a result of Brooks’ candid and truthful discussion of various of his experiences as a WWE wrestler, despite the fact that the Plaintiff knows full well that the statements about which he complains are true and/or substantially true.

It’s the best time of year to be a WWE fan because WrestleMania is right around the corner. Sunday’s Fastlane pay-per-view doesn’t have the kind of lineup that is going to rock our world as the best PPV ever, but there are some potentially great matches on there.
Daniel Bryan’s main event match against Roman Reigns could be excellent if Reigns can keep up with Bryan. The booking decision on that one will be much talked about after the show. If Reigns wins then people will wonder if he can hold his own against Brock Lesnar. If Bryan wins, does that means Reigns loses a title shot and or do they got with another triple threat at WrestleMania?
The standout match at Fastlane could be the Tag Team Title match with The Usos defending against Cesaro and Tyson Kidd. They’re all great workers with awesome chemistry.
