- In 2011 Bujarski was awarded the Silver Medal of Medal for Merit to Culture - Gloria Artis by Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Bogdan Zdrojewski.[.
- He was born in Muszyna, Poland about 120 kilometers south-west of Krakow, and very close to the border with what is now Slovakia, and studied composition at the State College of Music in Krakow with Stanistaw Wiechowicz.

- Music theorists point out that the works for string quartet occupy an important place in Bujarski's work. He wrote four such compositions - Na domu domu (1980), Na Adwent (1984), Na Wielkanoc (1989) and Na jesien(2001).
- He graduated from the State Music University in Kraków in 1960, studying to become a composer and conductor.
- In 1972, he began his career as an academic lecturer.
