Former President Bill Clinton is debuting a new video today in which he reflects on the anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing, warning of the threat that toxic political discourse has on democracy.
The video is part of an “Explainer-in-Chief” series that Clinton is doing with Attn:, the Candle Media division that publishes content fusing entertainment and topical issues.
The bombing, which killed 168 people, took place 29 years ago today. “For every president there are certain days in your presidency you will never forget,” Clinton says in the video. “April 19, 1995, the day of the largest domestic terrorist attack in U.S. history is one of those days for me.”
“In the aftermath of the Oklahoma city bombing, I knew that we had a responsibility to do everything we could to ensure that something like this would never happen again,” Clinton says. “But perhaps an even greater responsibility was to urge people...

Zooey Deschanel loves to cook. Her specialties include risotto and various French dishes she learned from visiting family overseas.
Even so, her new Max food series, “What Am I Eating?,” is not about her life in the kitchen. “I didn’t want to do a show where it’s like, ‘I’m an actor – watch me cook!’” Deschanel told me Monday night at a dinner celebrating the “What Am I Eating?” premiere. “Nobody wants to see me do that.”
Except maybe her boyfriend, “Property Brothers” star Jonathan Scott. “Whenever someone says something to me like, ‘How was your pandemic?’ I always say, ‘I was living my best life,’” he said. “She is gourmet. She is a great chef.”

Zooey Deschanel isn’t here to fearmonger about food.
Instead, the former New Girl star is on a quest to find answers to common questions in the kitchen to help viewers better understand the food system and make informed buying decisions at the grocery store. Beginning Tuesday, all six episodes of her new educational series, What Am I Eating?, are available to stream on Max, the rebranded streaming service from Warner Bros. Discovery. Episode topics include subjects like fats, fruits, grains, greens and chocolate and feature Deschanel — along with a group of correspondents — traveling to local farms and speaking with experts to find the truth behind food myths and commonly held perceptions, such as whether buying organic is always necessary or if plant-based milk is healthier than cow’s milk.
“A lot of people get scared of things because they hear something’s so bad,” Deschanel tells The Hollywood Reporter.

For Holocaust Remembrance Day, TikTok is doing its part to ensure that the atrocities of the Nazi regime are not forgotten. As the app elevates Jewish voices, one of its biggest stars is broadcasting her memorial message across multiple platforms. Tucker, who has 8.8 million followers on TikTok, is the grandchild of multiple Holocaust survivors. To honor her ancestors, the dancer, singer, and content creator linked up with the philanthropic organization CharityBids, which arranged for her to travel to the site of the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland.
How To: Never Forget was the result of that trip. The documentary initially premiered on Tucker’s TikTok and Instagram pages, but it is now available in multiple formats on YouTube. On Shorts, the film is cut into ten episodes, which is how it was first released. A full-length...
