Teresa Delain
Teresa Delain was born in Niskayuna, NY on 17 August, 1990.
Growing up, she participated in several children's operas, which included a production of David and the Giant, based on the story of David and Goliath, at Trinity Church in Boston, MA, as well as a production of Rumpelstiltskin under the direction of David Budgell with the Boston Children's Opera.
She achieved great success with her participation in NYSSMA (a New York music competition), with a perfect score on Franz Schubert's song "Der Tod und das Mädchen" in 2006. In the summer of 2006, she performed in a production of Dido and Aeneas under the direction of Paul Sigrist.
She presently studies independently, focusing on works by George Frideric Handel as well as earlier works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
