Steve Sxwithul'txw is best known for his APTN series called "Tribal Police Files" which is now in post for its 3rd season which is expected out this summer of 2021. The first season TPF crew were in Lillooet BC, 2nd season TPF was in Rama, Ontario and our 3rd season we were in Tsuut'ina Nation near Calgary Alberta.
Sxwithul'txw has worked through COVID 19 times on location in Calgary in 2020. He also shot a short Indigenous film called "Finding the Balance" on southern Vancouver Island which has screened in multiple online film festivals during COVID.
Steve's past series includes "Warrior Games"which debuted in 2014 on APTN and was winner of 4 Leo Awards. This included best series, best host, best cinematography and best writing. Tribal Police Files season 1 was nominated for a Leo Award in 2016.
Steve is a board member for the Leo Awards in BC which recognizes excellence in film and TV.
