GQ reporter Julia Ioffe raised some eyebrows during an appearance with Jake Tapper on Monday, telling the CNN host in an interview that the President Trump has “radicalized” more people than has the Islamic State.
“I think this president — one of the things he really launched his presidential run on is talking about Islamic radicalization, and this president has radicalized so many more people than Isis ever did,” said Ioffe. “The ways he talks. The way that he winks and nods to these groups.”
The moment received no pushback from Jake Tapper, but sparked outrage form pro-Trump panelist David Urban.
