Sam Ashe Arnold is a Canadian actor known for playing Gavin Coscarelli in

Following a year of classes at The Ottawa Children's Theatre, Sam was signed by AMTI in 2013. At age 11, he garnered critical praise for his portrayal of Joshua in the multi-award-winning short,
Winter Hymns (2015). A string of lead and supporting roles in film and television projects followed, including
Adventure Club (2017),
High-Rise Rescue (2017), and
Creeped Out (2017).
In 2017, Sam spent a combined 20 weeks on film sets far from home - including Johannesburg and Bela Bela in South Africa for
An Elephant's Journey (2017), Toronto and Wawa for
Brotherhood (2019), and Los Angeles for
Best. Worst. Weekend. Ever. (2018). He balances his professional acting schedule with his commitment as a senior drama student in the renowned Arts Program at Ottawa's Canterbury High School.
Sam is a strong supporter of Canadian independent film and has enjoyed working with several emerging filmmakers, including Meryam Joobeur (
