Guy Barrera
- Actor
Guy Erick Barrera was born on June 19, 1999 in Newport Beach, California to Jose Luis Barrera, who is a construction worker, and Maria Rosa Barrera, who is a house cleaner. He has two older brothers, Luis Alberto(Oldest) and Eduardo Alexis Barrera(Second Oldest).
Growing up, Guy has always been different from others. Whether it be his personality or his looks. It wasn't until October 9, 2013 when he got hit by an OCTA city bus, that he realized his true passion for acting. Guy has fought peer pressure, loneliness, and bullying to be where he is now. At the age of 14, one year after his incident, Guy began his acting career.
Prior to starting his acting career, Guy started researching all types of acting jobs, whether it was paying or not. When he wasn't searching for auditions and schools, he was performing mini skits in his high school's plaza. Soon Guy attended an acting school named Barbizon. Barely able to make his payments, he struggled on because he knew he was doing what he loved.
Finally Graduating from Barbizon, Guy was out into the world, excited for what life had in store. Immediately submitting himself for auditions, he received an email from director Michael Keller. Guy eventually got casted as "Lobo" in the upcoming short film "Hard Time Harvey". Guy continues his acting career with a positive attitude and a thrill for life.
