Jennifer Lopez appears to be going through a lot. The famed singer’s marriage woes have been tabloid fodder for weeks, and now she’s canceled an upcoming tour. During a tough time, Lopez surely has friends to lean on, but it seems one of her closest bonds, the one with Leah Remini, has been negatively impacted by her relationship with Affleck. The former besties allegedly had a falling out over Affleck more than two years ago.
How did Leah Remini and Jennifer Lopez become friends?
Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini first met through Marc Anthony. Remini once revealed that she was at a movie premiere, and Anthony, with whom she had been friends for years, asked her to meet Lopez. He was dating the songstress at the time. Lopez and Anthony married, welcomed two children together, and divorced. Remini recalled being nervous about meeting Lopez. The nerves went away quickly,...

Now known for coming in with some good news when no one expects them, Good Omens is once again here to save the day for all Neil Gaiman fans. Among the uncertainty around The Sandman, which has been renewed, but has no real release date, and Dead Boy Detective, which is yet to get season 2, Good Omens is doing the absolute best.
Produced and streamed by Prime Video, Good Omens season 3 is very likely to premiere in late 2025 or early 2026, depending on how the post-production goes. A show like this, requiring a lot of technical work and graphics, may take a while, but at least now fans know the date when the filming begins, as well as what to expect of it.

The second half of the British Emmys — the BAFTA TV Awards — are about to kick off. The first segment took place at the end of April when the BAFTA TV Craft Awards gave out gongs for below-the-line artists nominated for their work in this year’s best TV shows. Now, the main ceremony is taking place. This one is where all the big stars rock up as the acting categories are presented tonight in what is a live, televised ceremony broadcast from the Royal Festival Hall on London’s South Bank.
The stars are decorating the red carpet thickly and fastly while the sweat drips from the brows of our journalists just as thick and fast. It’s sweltering here in London. Props, then, must go to “The Hobbit” star Richard Armitage, who dons a pink velvet suit jacket. Velvet is a brave choice in such hot weather but he looks dashing as anything.

For the first time in “Drag Race” history, Emmy-award winner Michelle Visage, who has been a judge on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and “RuPaul’s Drag Race: U.K.,” will step onto the main stage and host the fourth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Down Under.”
As he hands the hosting baton to Visage, RuPaul will remain on the series as an executive producer. He said, “It has been my great honor to bring Drag Race to Australaisa. I can’t wait to see the franchise continue to flourish under the leadership of the incredible Michelle Visage.”
In a statement to Variety, Visage said, “As the ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ universe continues to expand, I am thrilled and honored to host ‘Drag Race Down Under’ Season 4. From my early days in the Harlem ballroom scene to the past 13 years as RuPaul’s head judge,...

So’s begun the march to 2024’s first major film. Just a week since Janus and Sideshow announced Bertrand Bonello’s The Beast will begin its U.S. run on April 5, its French release, starting today, has brought the director’s soundtrack––latest in the best run of double-duty since John Carpenter. Bonello also being a master of the needledrop, the album features needledrops from The Pointer Sisters and Roy Orbison. Sadly no Visage or Patsy Cline, whose songs are used to incredible effect, but that’s why I made a Spotify playlist all the way back in September, since which time The Beast has stayed rattling somewhere in my mind.

As a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, Michelle Visage is a stoic presence with expert critiques on the challenges. But once she meets the queens again on Whatcha Packin’, Visage is finally able to connect with them on a deeper level. RuPaul’s Drag Race is a reality competition series where a group of drag queens compete in a variety of fashion challenges to become America’s Next Drag Superstar. Eliminated queens then join Visage for Whatcha Packin’, an after show where they are able to show off the outfits they didn’t get a chance to wear and talk about themselves. As she is unable to really speak with the queens during the competition, Visage says that finally speaking with them is a very special experience.

While the LGBTQ community and its allies celebrate Pride this June, conservative legislators across the country continue to push through bills that strip rights from queer people. For longtime “RuPaul’s Drag Race” judge and producer Michelle Visage, the anti-lgbtq rhetoric and legislation are distractions while other rights that affect even wider populations — like abortion and education — are also being targeted.
TheWrap’s Elijah Gil caught up with Visage at The Village at the Los Angeles LGBT Center for a special live performance of “Wigloose: The Rusical” during L.A. Pride weekend. The performance, which featured Season 15 queens Sasha Colby, Luxx Noir London, Mistress Isabelle Brooks, Salina EsTitties, Marcia Marcia Marcia and Aura Mayari, was part of the official “RuPaul’s Drag Race” FYC Emmy Event. But it also served as a reminder of the contentious political and cultural climate in America today.

Paramount+‘s Queen of the Universe has everything you expect from a singing competition show: live singing, elaborately produced numbers, live voting, a star-studded judges panel, and a host of equal star power. But it ups the ante when the cast performs everything in drag. “The difference between, let’s say, Drag Race and Queen of the Universe is, these are singers first,” says judge/Drag Race All Stars winner Trixie Mattel. “They’re primarily vocal artists, and they do drag. I’m gonna be honest, I’m speaking for them: The drag only complicates things up there.” Evaluating those complicated numbers are Mattel, her fellow Drag Race star Michelle Visage, and Vanessa Williams as returning judges, with Graham Norton as host and Spice Girl Mel B. joining the judges’ panel for Season 2 (the first two episodes are streaming on Paramount+ as of June 2). Visage has been adjudicating RuPaul’s Drag Race for years.

The first thing that struck returning “Queen of the Universe” judges Michelle Visage, Trixie Mattel and Vanessa Williams was how beautiful the Season 2 contestants were. TheWrap caught up with the trio ahead of Friday’s season premiere.
“The first day on a drag show is exciting for me because that’s when you see everybody for the first time,” Visage, who also serves as a judge on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” said. “I love that.”
“There was a few the first day when they walked out where we looked at each other like ‘This bitch,'” Mattel recalled. “Some of these competitors are so beautiful. Their faces, the way the light hits it, the way these competitors know how to apply makeup for TV — these are some of the prettiest queens I’ve ever seen in my life, to be honest.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race is all about inside and running jokes that carry over the course of a season. Sometimes, they even carry from one season to the next. On season 15, Mistress Isabelle Brooks admitted to stealing a RuPaul book from the set, thinking that it was only a prop. However, she apologized when she discovered that it was a producer’s personal copy. In true RuPaul fashion, he always has a comeback for everything.
