Australia’s all-format opener David Warner (Dubai Capitals) is amongst the full list of superstars that the six teams have signed for Season 2.
Warner (350 internationals for Australia) is already a great of the game with his batting feats in the international arena. The left-hander has played 356 T20s around the world amassing 11695 runs with the help of eight centuries.

Powell led from the front with a magnificent innings of 97 runs off 41 runs to help his side post a mammoth total of 222/3. Thereafter, the Dubai Capitals bowlers restricted the Mi Emirates to 206/5 in their 20 overs.
“I am very elated for the guys. Three defeats on the trot weren’t good and I asked the guys to improve in all three departments of the game and they did that against Mi Emirates,” said Powell about his team’s performance.
The skipper is currently the joint-highest six-hitter with 17 sixes in the tournament. Asked about the same, the aggressive batter said, “I feel very good about being one of the leading six hitters in the tournament.

New Delhi, Sep 2 (Ians) Four franchises — Adani Sportsline owned Gujarat Giants, Gmr Sportss India Capitals, Manipal Group’s Manipal Tigers and Bhilwara Group’s Bhilwara Kings — on Friday picked 59 cricketers from the players’ draft held virtually with a combined purse of Rs 32 crore, for the upcoming Legends League Cricket (LLC).
The players’ draft included 79 cricketers (20 went unsold) and each team had a purse of Rs 8 crore each. Each team will now have three more days to submit their final squad wherein they can buy more players with the available purse.
“Among the teams, Manipal Tigers spent the most amount of Rs 6,91,20,000 and have a remaining purse of 1,08,80,000. Tigers were followed closely by India Capitals as they spent Rs 6,38,80,000 and Gujarat Giants who splurged Rs 5,51,80,000 on their stars. Bhilwara Kings were the most economical as they spent Rs 5,62,20,000,” said Raman Raheja, CEO and Co-Founder Legends League Cricket, in a media release.

Colombo, Nov 20 (Ians) England all-rounder Ravi Bopara is the latest cricketer to pull out of the inaugural Lanka Premier League (Lpl) edition. Bopara was slated to play for Jaffna Stallions in the tournament slated to begin from November 26.
"Official announcement English Cricketer Ravi Bopara (Jaffna Stallions) has pulled out from Lanka Premier League 2020," read a tweet on the official Twitter handle of Lpl.
Lasith Malinga, Chris Gayle and Liam Plunkett have already withdrawn from the tournament. While Malinga was part of the Galle Gladiators' squad, Gayle and Plunkett were slated to play for Kandy Tuskers.
Meanwhile, Sudeep Tyagi, who recently retired from first-class cricket, arrived in Hambantota on Friday ahead of the inaugural Lpl edition and is currently in quarantine.
"Quarantined in Hambantota #LPLT20 #SriLanka #Quarantine," Tyagi said in a tweet on Friday.
Tyagi, who had represented India in four ODIs and a T20I, had announced his retirement on Tuesday.

Lahore, Nov 3 (Ians) South Africa's Faf du Plessis will make his Pakistan Super League debut when he will turn out for Peshawar Zalmi in the playoffs stage of the tournament, which will resume from November 14.
du Plessis, who last visited Pakistan in 2017 as the Icc World XI captain, has been brought in as a replacement player for Kieron Pollard, who will be in New Zealand with the West Indies side.
The tournament, played in February-March, was put on hold following the outbreak of coronavirus right after the league stage was done. Psl 2020 was the first event to be held entirely in Pakistan since its inception in 2016.
