9:36 Am Pt -- Jc tells us, "Anyone who loved my father and respected his work should see Max Anderson as we do. My father was a loving and trusting man. He was all about love. He should never have been in business with a man like Max Anderson." Kirk E. Schenck, attorney for Stan's Estate, says, "Elder abuse is becoming all too common, especially against high net worth individuals who have been highly functioning professionals during very sophisticated careers.

Stan Lee, Marvel’s main man, is sadly no longer with us.
The comic book luminary and all-around creative powerhouse passed away early Monday morning at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He is survived by his only daughter J.C. (Joan Celia Lee), and leaves behind a wealth of comic book legacies ranging from Spider-Man to Black Panther and everything in between.
He’ll be sorely missed, then – of that we are certain. And if you’ve been left wanting for one more Stan Lee McU cameo to ease the heartbreak, we have some good news to remind you of: Stan Lee has already filmed his scenes for Avengers 4 and, presumably, the standalone Captain Marvel movie, as the Russo Brothers told BBC Radio Scotland (h/t ComicBook.com) earlier this year.
He’s the godfather of a lot of these stories, him and Jack Kirby. So, Stan,...

The world has just lost a legend.
Stan Lee, godfather of Marvel Comics and master of the cinematic cameo (see: every major Marvel movie ever released), has died at the age of 95.
According to TMZ, Stan Lee was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center early Monday morning, where he sadly passed away. No further details have been disclosed at this time, though we know Lee has suffered from several illnesses (along with a series of troubling personal problems) over the past 12 months – including a bout of pneumonia and vision issues.
Alas, Lee, who co-founded Marvel with Jack Kirby back in 1961, has left us, and today TMZ relayed a short and heartfelt statement from his daughter, J.C. (Joan Celia Lee), who described her late father as, quite simply, “the greatest.”
My father loved all of his fans. He was the greatest, most decent man.

Things aren’t going so well for the great Stan Lee.
The industry titan, best known for creating and/or co-creating the likes of The Avengers, Spider-Man and much of the X-Men, is reportedly at risk of losing his fortune and being “picked apart by vultures,” if sources close to The Daily Beast are to be believed.
Much of Lee’s alleged financial woes can be traced back to the people in his inner circle, who’ve been taking advantage of the 95-year-old in order to siphon vast portions of his wealth and use it to their own gain. Described by one anonymous source as “a real fucking mess,” the comic book mainstay is said to have lost $1.4 million due to a technical issue with a wire transfer, before $300,000 was removed from one of Lee’s bank accounts.
The latter sum was paid out to Hands of Respect, a company...
