Taylor McNelis is an up-and-coming Director/Writer based in New York City. Starting his career in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, he Directed three Short Films, all three accepted into various film festivals and '10-59' receiving a 'Best Short Film' nomination in Richmond. He got his start in the film industry as the 1st AC in the award winning short film, 'Mount Skylight' and was immediately placed at the Director and Co-Writer seat to turn it into a feature film.
Taylor spent 6 years in Virginia as a Commercial Director and Producer, creating content in the commercial field for businesses such as Bob Wade Subaru, SPCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Political Ad Campaigns, Massanutten Military and more.
Taylor spent time as a Producer & Editor for major sports podcast, 'Green Light with Chris Long' where he was the assistant producer for the show, lead videographer and editor.
He moved to New York City in the summer of 2022, where he works as an independent Director while also working as an Editor for Bronx-based production company, SpotOnNY who has been involved with several Stand Up Comedy Specials as well as commercial work.
