“Survivor” debuted on CBS as a summer program on May 31, 2000. Hosted by Jeff Probst since the very beginning, it is credited by many as starting the reality show craze that has been a major part of TV this century. After being on the air for two decades, 20 of the most iconic champions returned in Season 40’s “Winners at War” to compete in the first-ever all-winners season. Following a temporary delay due to Covid-19, the reality TV show continued with even more twists and turns, plus more diversity amongst its cast members. Tour our updated “Survivor” winners list above (or click here for direct access) that highlights everyone from Season 1’s Richard Hatch to the most recent.

It has happened again. There is another contestant on CBS’s megahit reality show, Survivor, who is covering a tattoo. Making this situation a bit stranger, both the first and second contestants who have had to cover tattoos share the name “Ben.” The odds of that happening just might be as long as they are for becoming a contestant on Survivor.
The First Covered Tattoo On Survivor
The first covered tattoo seen (or not seen) on Survivor happened back in 2017. That was Season 35, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. The tattoo belonged to Ben Driebergen. It was Ben Driebergen who went on to win that season and take home the $1 million prize.
Ben Driebergen, a former Marine and stay-at-home dad, also appeared on Season 40. This was the season where many of the winners came back to try to win the $2 million prize. Season 40 was known as Winners At War. It featured...

In the game of “Survivor,” the goal is to outwit, outplay and outlast the competition, but sometimes the hardest thing for a player to overcome is to “outlast” their own mind or body. As of this writing, 15 castaways vocalized a decision to leave CBS’s reality TV show of their own accord, whether it be due to general degradation of their body, family emergencies or even personal obstacles they couldn’t overcome in their mind. Note that people like Sean Edwards (“Survivor 45”) and Ben Driebergen (“Survivor: Winners at War”) aren’t included in our gallery because, even though they vocalized their decision to throw in the towel, they were still voted out by their tribes.

Stop saying Sean Edwards is a quitter.
Sean’s tribe lost immunity during the fourth episode of “Survivor 45.” They went to tribal council. He was voted out. That’s literally how the show works. But clearly I’m in the minority on this one, especially when you look at all of the anti-Sean outrage on social media.
In case you missed the episode in question, a tribe swap resulted in Lulu member Sean joining four Reba players at their camp. After personally losing his fourth straight immunity challenge, the 35-year-old school principal from Utah expressed his desire to return home to his loving husband at tribal council, telling his new tribe mates to “write [his] name down” in order for them to remain “Reba strong.” At the time, Jeff Probst accused him of essentially “engineering a quit” — and for the record, the host seemed quite irritated, especially as this was coming...

“Survivor” is a game that ends with one person claiming the life-changing $1 million prize, but sometimes the winner is not the one people expect. The title of Sole Survivor is the result of taking out the biggest competitors, being likable in the cast, and appealing to the jury, all while arguing the case of why you’re the most deserving of the win. While many of the champions are well-deserved, at least according to the passionate fans at home, others spark massive debate when Jeff Probst reads their names out loud. Scroll through our photo gallery above (or click here for direct access) where we detail the Top 10 biggest “Survivor” upset winners of all time.

The Challenge: World Championship episode 5 ended with a stalemate that resulted in Ben Driebergen and Kaycee Clark seemingly getting blindsided into elimination. Ben might have unintentionally put them in the Arena by not voting for Jordan Wiseley and Kaz Crossley, as he previously told Danny McCray. However, it’s possible Ben didn’t cause the stalemate because Jodi Weatherton claimed it would have been prevented if one of her allies voted with her and Team Australia.
‘The Challenge: World Championship’ episode 5 ended in a stalemate
When Wes Bergmann and Zara Zoffany placed last in The Challenge: World Championship episode 5, the rest of the cast took the opportunity to throw in another strong team to face them in the Arena.
However, they couldn’t agree on who, resulting in a stalemate. Therefore, it gave daily winners Darrell Taylor and Kiki Morris all the power to throw any team they wanted into elimination.

The Challenge: USA champ Danny McCray and Ben Driebergen seemingly didn’t have problems during their season. However, they’re unable to work together in World Championship. During his episode of MTV’s Official Challenge Podcast, Ben called Danny “two-faced” and claimed he wanted to work with the former NFL player. The USA winner has since responded, insisting Ben lied.

However, Sarah Lacina and Danny didn’t trust his paranoia and secretly aligned with Team Australia’s Emily Seebohm and Grant Crapp.

The Challenge duo Darrell Taylor and Kiki Morris blindsided Ben Driebergen and Kaycee Clark into elimination. During the episode, the duo refused to explain why. However, Ben says they eventually told him. Additionally, he responded to Danny McCray’s commentary about him and called his former ally “two-faced” for behaving differently to his face.

The Challenge champ Wes Bergmann has an impressive social and physical game that’s resulted in six finals appearances and three wins throughout his 15-season career on the franchise. However, many people accuse him of “playing too hard.” Wes pushed back against that perception in a recent interview.
Wes Bergmann says he doesn’t ‘play too hard’ in ‘The Challenge’
Three-time champ Wes Bergmann has developed a reputation of “playing too hard” due to his habit of direct messaging players before the season and working the rookies and newcomers in the house.
However, he insisted that “narrative” isn’t true regarding his gameplay in spinoff The Challenge: World Championship.

The Challenge: Australia champ Kiki Morris didn’t watch the MTV franchise before competing in World Championship. Therefore, her decision to pick four-time champ Darrell Taylor had nothing to do with his historic run on the show.
Kiki Morris explains why she chose Darrell Taylor as a partner in ‘The Challenge: World Championship’
The Challenge: Australia winner Kiki Morris was the fourth female global Mvp to pick a legend, and she chose four-time champ Darrell Taylor after Wes Bergmann, Jordan Wiseley, and Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio were already selected.
In a March 2023 interview with The Challenge Chronicles, the Australian reality TV star admitted she hadn’t watched the show before and didn’t know anyone’s prior accolades before heading into the season. Based on their conversation after the qualifier, she chose the only player to win four seasons in a row.

At the start of “Survivor 43” it was looking like series history would be made if they had become the first season to vote five women out in a row. Thankfully they dodged setting what would have been an unfortunate record, but sadly “Survivor 44” is already in the same position. Setting aside the medevac of Bruce Perreault on Day 1, four women have once again been the first four voted out of a “Survivor” game. If the players extend it to a fifth next week, they will make history as the first and only cast to eliminate five women out in a row.
As things stand, the game will remain in the three tribe format for at least one more episode. Ratu voted Maddy Pomilla out first, Tika is responsible for sending home both Helen Li and Sarah Wade, and Soka ousted Claire Rafson after she sat her out for three straight immunity challenges.

Challengers from around the world are taking on the very legends that created the game in the new trailer released Monday for Paramount+’s The Challenge: World Championship.
The series’ two-episode premiere (releasing Wednesday, March 8) will pair MVPs from the USA, U.K., Argentina and Australia installments with Challenge legends from MTV’s past to form some of the most iconic teams in franchise history. The castaways of “Survivor 43” have positioned themselves to set a new record next week — all they need to do is vote out a fifth woman in a row. So far the cast has only eliminated females: Morriah Young, Justine Brennan, Nneka Ejere and Lindsay Carmine were the first four players voted out, matching a franchise record. If they continue on this path and vote another woman out next week, they will go down in infamy as the record holders for longest succession of female eliminations to start a season. Yikes!
Luckily, as it stands in Gold Derby’s racetrack odds, the cast is not headed toward setting such a disastrous record. Instead, Geo Bustamante leads our current predictions to be eliminated in Episode 5 at 19/25. He is followed, however, by four women with decent odds to go: Cassidy Clark at 6/1 and Jeanine Zheng, Elisabeth ‘Elie’ Scott and Noelle Lambert all at...

Angela Rummans appears in a confessional interview for The Challenge: USA. Pic credit: Paramount+
Following her appearance on CBS’ spinoff The Challenge: USA, Angela Rummans was taking care of business in Indonesia.
The former Big Brother houseguest took to Instagram to share several photos in which she posed wearing a skimpy snakeskin pattern bikini featuring a stunning mix of greys, browns, and black.
In the first of four photos, the 30-year-old gave a sideways pose as she sat against a wooden beam and gazed at the camera with her long brunette locks flowing down.
A second image has Angela resting a hand on her head as she stands straight up in the same location, with her hair blown slightly across her face.
In a third pic, she’s provided close-up shots of the snakeskin bikini, while a fourth has her giving a bit of a smile as she faces the camera.

Devin Walker is giving his thoughts about The Challenge: USA final. Pic credit: MTV
Devin Walker has called out several of The Challenge: USA stars after watching how things went for the cast members competing in the CBS spinoff show’s final.
The show recently aired its two-hour grand finale on CBS and featured a final that some fans might consider comparable to the MTV show’s finals.
However, CBS’ version featured a variety of circumstances that happened before and during the final that viewers and spinoff cast members have criticized.
Several things caused issues for the competitors, putting them at a disadvantage or costing them a chance to continue competing. In addition, post-season exit interview comments from some finalists have indicated production wasn’t correctly explaining rules along the way.
That said, Devin isn’t listening to any excuses, as he even called out one of the finalists by name,...

The Challenge: USA continues to draw in several million viewers every week as it airs directly after CBS’ popular reality TV competition show, Big Brother.
Episode 10 of The Challenge: USA showed an increase in ratings compared to the prior installment, suggesting many more viewers could also be watching the upcoming season finale.
The penultimate episode featured a daily challenge that only one competitor could complete and yet another difficult elimination discussion between the daily event’s winning players.

Big Brother was one of four CBS reality TV shows that brought cast members to The Challenge: USA, a spinoff of MTV’s popular competition show.
Among those Big Brother stars was David Alexander, who originally appeared in Season 21 of the CBS show, then returned for Season 22, aka All Stars.
David didn’t have the best showing during his original reality TV show, becoming the first player evicted in Bb 21. He fared slightly better in Bb 22, as the ninth player evicted and got onto the All Stars jury.
However, his appearance as an underdog who defied the odds on The Challenge: USA may have boosted his status in the reality TV world.
He recently opened up about how he’s been training hard to appear on The Challenge again, with three potential shows he could go on.

The Challenge: USA brought out another classic elimination for the penultimate episode of the season: Balls In. And by the end of it, both players — Big Brother‘s David Alexander and Enzo Palumbo were exhausted. Yes, the friends faced off, despite Alexander, who lost the daily, trying to appeal to the daily’s winners Big Brother‘s Angela Rummans and Survivor‘s Ben Driebergen to send in Survivor‘s Tyson Apostol or Domenick Abbate. And in the end, it was Alexander who was eliminated. Alexander opens up about that elimination, why he wants to do another season, and more. There seemed to be a real division in the house, with you and Enzo separate from the others. How were you feeling about your standing? David Alexander: I didn’t feel that huge alliance. I know that Alyssa wasn’t as strong with me because I sent Derek home. She was really,...

The competitors arrived back at the compound to start Episode 10 with Sarah Lacina celebrating her elimination win. She has 10,000 in her personal bank account and is eligible to compete in the final.
Competitors knew the final was approaching, so everyone strategized ahead of the daily challenge and next elimination, which would feature the men.
Sarah spoke about the Fab Five alliance ending after she had to eliminate Cashay Proudfoot in the last episode. The other members of the alliance still there included Justine Ndiba, Cayla Platt, and Desi Williams. Still, everyone had different loyalties to worry about and getting to the final.
In another scene, Ben Driebergen was hanging out with Enzo Palumbo, whom he admitted to becoming friends with during a confessional interview. The remaining Survivor men realized that...

Big Brother star Alyssa Lopez appears during The Challenge: USA, Episode 9. Pic credit: Paramount+
The ratings are in for The Challenge: USA, Episode 9, and the numbers showed a significant decrease from the previous week’s installment.
In the ninth episode, which aired on Wednesday, September 1, viewers saw the second-straight episode with competitors going into the daily challenge on their own rather than with teammates.
That was due to host Tj Lavin getting rid of The Algorithm in the previous episode. The special computer program randomly assigned each competitor a new partner every episode to make things interesting, but finally came to an end with the final approaching.
Episode 9 was also the second-straight individual elimination, but this time it was two women competing at The Arena, with one getting sent home for the season.
Ahead of that big event, a rivalry intensified between two particular castmates who both are intent on...

As The Challenge: USA, Episode 9 opened, the cast enjoyed a nice cruise on the water with food, drinks, and dancing. An alliance called the Fab Five was revealed, which included Sarah Lacina, Desi Williams, Cashay Proudfoot, Justine Ndiba, and Cayla Platt.
Sarah’s group was targeting Big Brother allies Angela Rummans and Alyssa Lopez. Angela said in a confessional that Sarah needs to qualify for the final before calling herself “fabulous.”
Ben Driebergen met with Alyssa and Angela as they talked about what Sarah was up to with the other women. In his confessional, Ben said he trusts Sarah but doesn’t trust what she’s doing.
“If he makes a messy bed, he’ll have to lie in it, and I will not lie in it with him,” Sarah said in her confessional regarding Ben working with the Big Brother women.
