Warning: Spoilers ahead for “Chucky” Season 3.
The “Chucky” Season 3 finale, “Final Destination,” picked up with Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur) venturing deep into the spirit realm for the sole purpose of finding where Chucky (Brad Dourif) may be hiding Lexy’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) younger sister. As Lexy and Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson) guarded his body, Jake confronted the ghosts of his past, including many, many iterations of Chucky. That led to Jake falling straight into Chucky’s trap, with the serial killer using his counterparts to distract him while he hijacked Jake’s body.
Bloody Disgusting spoke with Arthur, Arnarson, and Lind about the season finale, where the trio discussed working with guest star John Waters and reflected on their favorite moments from the series so far.
Finding sister Caroline (Carina Battrick) has been Lexy’s primary goal this season, and her relentless pursuit has put her on the offense when it comes to Chucky.

What a whirlwind. “Chucky” Season 3 let the killer doll loose in the White House, where he unleashed multiple bloodbaths, temporarily gained control of the nuclear weapons, and even faced his greatest fear, death, along with the wrath of Damballa. The season finale, appropriately titled “Final Destination,” has a lot of ground to cover, yet Chucky (Brad Dourif) is still running amok in the spirit realm while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) hopes for one final Hail Mary to escape death. Luckily, the super-sized episode packs in the revelations while tying up the season’s loose ends and paying tribute to the franchise’s past. It all makes for a satisfying capper to another delightfully unhinged season.
While “Final Destination” hits the ground running with explosive action, it also doesn’t waste any time exploring the aftermath of Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur) choosing to die temporarily in the hopes of finding Caroline (Carina Battrick...

Chucky season 3 had to be split in half due to the writers and actors strikes, with the first four episodes (read our review Here) airing on Syfy and USA Network (as well as the Peacock streaming service) back in October. Production resumed at the end of November, and the second half of the season will begin airing on April 10th – so now that we’re closing in on the end of season 3, series creator Don Mancini is, of course, fielding questions about the possibility of a fourth season. During an interview with The Direct, Mancini confirmed that season 4 has already been pitched!
When the subject of season 4 came up, Mancini said, “There’s very little I can say about that. I can’t tell you my idea for Season 4, but I’m really excited about it. I already pitched it to the network. So fingers crossed because it’s something I really like to do.

The wait is now over and it’s time for a new presidential contender, Charles Lee Ray (Brad Dourif), aka Chucky, who has arrived and is ready to torment another day. After a long hiatus during which the creators divided season 3 into two parts, Don Mancini finally bestows another part of season 3 with four more episodes in its haunting repertoire. Although it seems impossible, Chucky Season 3: Part Two is even crazier and bloodier, as the season takes a spiritual spin.
Following the conclusion of Part One, we are left with a fast-aging Chucky, clinging to life as a serial killer in a doll body. But the man's foe isn't just the old age: Jake (Zackary Arthur), Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson) are back and are hellbent on destroying the remains of Chucky's soul for good. Meanwhile, Tiffany, aka Jennifer Tilly (Jennifer Tilly), faces a hard reality...

Don Mancini, who has written every film in the Child’s Play / Chucky franchise (except the remake) and directed a few of them, developed the TV series Chucky with producer David Kirschner – and he has made it clear that he enjoys casting actors in multiple roles. For example, Devon Sawa has already played four different characters over the course of the TV show’s three seasons. Now Entertainment Weekly has learned that legendary filmmaker John Waters is the latest person to play two different roles in this franchise. Having previously played Pete Peters, a tabloid photographer who got dissolved by acid in 2004’s Seed of Chucky, Waters has now been added to the cast of Chucky season 3, where he’ll be playing Wendell Wilkins, “the reclusive creator of the Good Guy dolls, who gets drawn into the psychopathic Chucky’s tangled web”.

Chucky season 3 had to be split in half due to the writers and actors strikes, with the first four episodes (read our review Here) airing on Syfy and USA Network (as well as the Peacock streaming service) last month. Now that both the writers and actors strikes have come to an end, Chucky is able to go back into production to film the second half of the season – and to celebrate, Syfy has shared a video that shows series creator Don Mancini and the series’ young stars, back on set:

Chucky the killer doll has come back a whole lot of times since we first saw him in the 1988 classic Child’s Play. He has starred in several big screen sequels, a couple direct-to-video sequels, and now he’s three seasons deep into a TV series that runs on both Syfy and USA Network (as well as the Peacock streaming service). As he has made his way through the decades, many of his co-stars have also returned to share the screen with him again and again. But among those who haven’t returned is Chris Sarandon, who played Detective Mike Norris in the original film. During an interview conducted by People to mark the thirty-fifth anniversary of the original Child’s Play, Sarandon revealed that he would be willing to come back for another Chucky project… even though he turned down the chance to appear in Child’s Play 2.

This article contains spoilers for "Chucky" season 3, episode 3.
Alien vs. Predator. Freddy vs. Jason. Sadako vs. Kayako. Bobby "Boris" Pickett's "Monster Mash."
Throughout horror genre history, there have been numerous examples of characters crossing over into one another's universes, continuity, and canon. While cinematic universes featuring characters from other genres are all the rage these days (especially with regard to action and comic book superheroes), there remains something special about the horror crossover.
For one thing, horror was the first genre to birth a cinematic universe long before it became a buzzworthy term, thanks to Universal Pictures' "Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man" in 1943. For another, a horror crossover typically isn't like a Marvel Cinematic Universe film, where heroes from their own separate franchises team up to hang out, crack wise, and eventually take on a doomsday villain. Instead, it's all about the thematic weight of not one, but two...

Don Mancini's Child's Play and its renowned main character Chucky, voiced by Brad Dourif, became an international horror sensation. How do I know? Because growing up in ‘90s Poland, I knew all too well about the evil doll. Chucky gave me a few nightmares, but it also turned me into a hardcode horror enthusiast. With the SyFy series Chucky , the creators extend the film universe and reintroduce the possessed doll to a broader and younger audience. This naughty, deliciously vicious series never gets old, even after several runs. This time, season 3 transports us to the White House and has to offer even more outrageous moments, great script, and continually astounding performances.
Following the events in Hackensack involving Chucky, Tiffany, and a pile of dead bodies, Jake (Zackary Arthur), Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson) find themselves orphaned. As befits Gen Z, the infamous trio immerses themselves in technology,...

A few months ago, Universal Studios announced that one of the haunted houses that would be part of this year’s Halloween Horror Nights event at the Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood resorts would be inspired by the killer doll Chucky. This haunted house is called Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count – and in a newly released video, Chucky himself promotes the attraction! You can check it out in the embed above.
Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count casts the killer doll as the star of his very own haunted house for the first time. A true sadistic killer, Chucky has been mired in the agony of disrespect he feels from his peers at not being taken seriously. Thus begins his quest to turn his haunted house into a living slaughterhouse by killing every person who enters.

Previously on f***ing "Chucky," everyone's favorite serial killer-possessed doll kickstarted a reign of havoc throughout New Jersey, and it was up to a group of meddling teens to stop him. Creator Don Mancini first brought Charles Lee "Chucky" Ray to audiences in 1988 with "Child's Play," and the pint-sized slasher franchise has grown to seven films and now three seasons of television. Mancini has been at the helm through it all, evolving the series every step of the way. And now, season 3 of the USA and Syfy "Chucky" series is taking things one step further in the wildest season yet.
Brad Dourif continues to dazzle and destroy as the titular doll, and "Chucky" is as gruesome, raucous, campy, and decidedly envelope-pushing as ever — both in substance and style. Season 3 is unfortunately split into two parts, but the first half — consisting of four episodes — continues the seasonal tradition that Halloween isn't...

By the end of Don Mancini’s “Chucky“ Season 2, orphans Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson), and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind) found a new stable home, free from Chucky (Brad Dourif). With Chucky on the lam and Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) accosted by the authorities, all seemed well for Hackensack and the franchise’s protagonists, save for one or two loose ends. As for the killer Good Guy doll, he doesn’t appear interested in Hackensack anymore.
Season 3 puts Chucky’s ambition on display as the pint-sized serial killer takes aim at the White House. With the third outing of “Chucky” split into halves, Season 3: Part 1’s more self-contained narrative keeps overarching plot threads on the backburner in favor of setting up a White House bloodbath that puts the camp in politics.
Chucky may still have a bone to pick with Jake, Devon, and Lexy, but his unwavering lust for power takes precedence.

"I always come back and so should you, ya moron!" The return of USA and Syfy Channel's "Chucky" TV series was revealed today via a teaser featuring a press conference announcement from the killer doll himself. The Brad Dourif-voiced Good Guy doll took to the podium for a special report, revealing that the show's third season will return in October 2023 – and getting a "M3GAN" dig in at the same time.
"Chucky" season 3 is set to take place in Washington, D.C., hence the CNN-like fake telecast format for the date announcement teaser. According to Chucky, "D.C. is going to get chucked up," which we can only assume means that a bunch of people will die. Season 2 of the show ended with a move to New York, where Chucky came back from the dead (as usual) and attacked Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly). Sometimes it seems like the entirety of "Chucky" season 2 was just one, giant, collective hallucination by the fans. The season kicked off with a Halloween special, threw the main tweens into Catholic school for some fun (with a weirdly hot priest played by Devon Sawa), and gave Jennifer Tilly a "Bound" reunion/solo episode that allowed her to remind the world why she's an Academy Award-nominated performer. Fiona Dourif has continued a masterful reign at playing multiple characters inhabiting her character Nica Pierce's body, including often having to imitate the voice of Charles Lee Ray/Chucky, who has been played by her father, Brad Dourif, for nearly three-and-a-half decades.

It's been about a year since we last caught up with our favorite sociopathic serial killer trapped in the body of a doll, but "Chucky" is back for season 2 and Charles Lee Ray (Brad Dourif) is wasting no time continuing to ruin the lives of Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur), his boyfriend Devon Evans (Björgvin Arnarson), their friend Lexy Cross (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and anyone else who gets in his way. Season 1 saw Chucky and his partner-in-crime, Jennifer Tilly (Jennifer Tilly), unleash a reign of terror across Hackensack, New Jersey that included a mansion fire, plenty of stabbings, murders framed as suicides, a movie theater massacre, and the demonic possession of 70+ Chucky dolls, and left Jake and Devon both orphaned.
Chucky isn't a fan of loose ends, which is why the first season provided such ire for him. Nica Pierce (Fiona Dourif) is still under the watchful eye of Jennifer Tilly,...

Exclusive: Mena Suvari (American Woman) and Greyston Holt (The Night Agent) have been cast as the leads in House Of Chains, Lifetime’s new original movie set to debut this fall.
House of Chains, greenlighted by Lifetime as part of its Ripped from the Headlines slate, is inspired by the disturbing true story of a troubled married couple who imprisoned their six children within their home due to an intense religious ideology. It tells the story of a seemingly normal, suburban family whose dark secrets remained hidden for years. Following their own set of strict religious beliefs, parents Laura (Suvari) and Tye (Holt) keep their children separated from the outside world. As the children grow older and begin to ask questions, Laura and Tye become increasingly authoritarian, leading them down a path of child abuse, neglect and imprisonment. I had mentally prepared myself for a year of pandemic lockdown and started to feel hopeful about everything returning to quasi-normal after getting the first round of vaccines, so the fact that we’re almost at the two year mark has been challenging to say the least. I know there are so many people out there who are struggling in one way or another, and I wish our readers and their loved ones the absolute best in 2022!
With the number of Covid cases higher than ever in the US, it’s prevented me from seeing films I’d ordinarily rush to see in a theater, so I haven't had a chance to catch a handful of movies like, Nightmare Alley. That said, it’s increasingly becoming the case where more is released than a single person can watch in a year and I expect others from the Daily Dead team...

If you asked me to name my favorite horror film franchise, I wouldn’t cite the usual suspects. My go-to slasher is a pint-sized ginger-haired terror in coveralls whose Good Guy exterior hides a killer underneath. Yep, Don Mancini’s “Child’s Play” series has terrified me, dazzled me, and given me many an opportunity to champion its progressive disability politics. So a series based around Chucky navigating Generation Alpha was always going to be my personal catnip, but thankfully it delivers.
Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur) has had a rough go of things. After the death of his mother, Jake’s father, Lucas (Devon Sawa), spends his days drinking and berating Jake for being gay and a loner. Jake wants to be an artist and his recent sculptures have focused on dolls, so when he spies everyone’s favorite possessed plastic creature at a yard sale, it gives Jake the opportunity to complete his latest piece.
