Eric McCormack’s wife, Janet Leigh Holden, has filed for divorce from the Will & Grace star after 26 years of marriage.
Holden filed with the Los Angeles County Superior Court on November 22, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for separation. She is seeking spousal support and has requested that the court terminate the actor’s eligibility to be awarded spousal support.
McCormack and Holden met on the set of Lonesome Dove in 1994. The couple married in August 1997 and share one son, 21-year-old Finnigan Holden McCormack.
“I met my wife, Janet, in 1994 on the set of a TV series,” McCormack wrote in an essay for The Guardian in 2007. “I was just coming out of a relationship, and not to be trusted. I’d been dating actresses but Janet was different. She wore jeans, drove a pick-up truck.”

Anthony Holden, whose chronicles of the Royal Family’s troubles caused him to be referred to once as “The Most Reviled Man in Britain,” died on Oct. 7 at his home in London. He was 76 and had a brain tumor, his son Ben said.
A gossip columnist for the Sunday Times in London, Holden wrote a biography of Prince Charles in 1979 that was well-received, even by the subject himself, who reportedly warmed to the book’s point that his work wasn’t always easy.
Holden continued on as a journalist, working as a Washington correspondent for The Observer, features editor for The Times of London, and as a freelancer for other papers.
During that, he was a go-to source for comment on the Royals. He wrote a few fluffy books based on that, including Their Royal Highnesses: The Prince & Princess of Wales (1981), A Week in the Life of the Royal Family...

Aggro Dr1ft A seasoned hitman navigates Miami’s underbelly on a relentless pursuit of his next target. A gun for hire embarks on a killing spree after his contractors threaten his loved ones. A man impersonates an assassin to put people behind bars… Ten days into my Venice trip, I started sensing a pattern. Hitmen and murderers were nearly as omnipresent as the biopics that stashed the festival’s slates, but the strongest titles I saw on the Lido all seemed to treat genre as something malleable: a means to interrogate the scope and limits of the medium, and push it toward new, exciting paths. So it was for Harmony Korine’s Aggro Dr1ft, a film so shamelessly proud to be its own deranged thing it more than made up for all those I saw and immediately forgot the minute a vaporetto shipped me home. Shot entirely in infrared and...

Amanda Holden has raised eyebrows with her “bizarre” tribute to Paul O’Grady, who has died, aged 67.
The Heart Radio presenter reacted to news of the TV host and comedian’s death while co-hosting her show with Jamie Theakston on Wednesday (29 March).
Holden, who appeared alongside O’Grady on an episode of his ITV series For the Love of Dogs in 2021, said she was in “complete shock” over the news.
She called him “really funny” and “very witty”, stating that “everything that came out of his mouth was brilliant”.
However, Holden then said: “Do you know what I loved about him? He was not woke in any way. He had massive opinions on everything, which, I love people like that.”
Listeners have taken umbrage with Holden’s use of the word “woke”, arguing it was out of context and had no place being used for such a tribute.

Koch Industries has written a lengthy response to our feature story on the company in the latest issue of Rolling Stone. In tweets the company apparently paid to promote, Koch bills this write-up as a "point-by-point response to Rolling Stone writer Tim Dickinson's dishonest and misleading story." The salient feature of Koch's response is that the company does not argue the core facts of our 9,000-word expose. Instead, Koch targets the messenger. Koch's top target here is not even Rolling Stone, but me, Tim Dickinson.
