Kieran Thomas Bird is an actor, director, and neo-regionalist social realist writer from Wolverhampton, England. Kieran's second feature film, Sweetly It Turns, starring Ruth Sheen, Richard Wilson, and Steve Oram, is a kitchen-sink drama following the lives of a working-class family in Wolverhampton as they deal with change and the passing of time. The film is in post-production and is set to be released in 2023. Prior to writing and directing, Kieran trained as an actor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, after which he worked in Daniel Evans' revival of Alan Bennett's Forty Years On at Chichester Festival Theatre (2017), at Pitlochry Festival Theatre, and in Robin Hooper's Foul Pages at The Hope Theatre, London, under the name Thomas Bird. Kieran is in early pre-production for his next project, Only in Sleep.
