Leah McSweeney has accused Bravo, Real Housewives producers, and Andy Cohen of exacerbating and failing to accommodate her struggles with drinking and mental health disorders during her time as a “Housewife.”
Between 2019 and 2023, McSweeney appeared on Seasons 12 and 13 of The Real Housewives of New York City and Season Three of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. During this run, McSweeney claims in the lawsuit, she worked hard to maintain her sobriety while grappling with depression and bipolar disorder. But producers allegedly tried to undercut her efforts through a pattern of manipulation.

Amazon is heading to North Carolina with the creators of Netflix’s drama Outer Banks.
The retailer and streamer has handed out an eight-episode, straight-to-series order for The Runarounds, a music drama that follows a post-high school band as they try to make it big. The series is not a spinoff of Outer Banks but it does feature the same group — The Runarounds — that was previously featured in a season three episode of the hugely popular young adult drama on Netflix.
From Obx co-creator Jonas Pate and with a teleplay from David Wilcox (Fringe), the fictional drama is inspired by the real band of the same name and will star the group’s members — William Lipton (General Hospital), Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zendé Murdock and Jesse Golliher — as well as Lilah Pate and Kelley Pereira. Lilah Pate, the daughter of The Runarounds creator Jonas Pate, has had a recurring role in Obx.

If you didn't know Quentin Tarantino hosted "Saturday Night Live" in the 1990s, and had to guess when he took the Studio 8H stage, your best options would be early 1995 (when the zeitgeisty "Pulp Fiction" was speeding toward an Academy Awards showdown with "Forrest Gump"), early 1996 (to promote "From Dusk till Dawn") or late 1997/early 1998 (in support of "Jackie Brown"). None of these would be correct.
No, the brash indie filmmaking sensation guested on November 11, 1995, with nothing to promote but himself. This might seem peculiar now, but it made perfect sense at the time because, after the Oscars, Tarantino was hitting the talk show circuit harder than Don Rickles. Could you blame him? He'd skyrocketed from know-it-all video store clerk to generational filmmaking genius. The problem here was that Tarantino knew he was a genius before critics and fans started telling him so. If there is one unwritten rule of horror movies, it's that successful ones will get sequels. When they cease to be successful, there is a more than decent chance the franchise in question will be rebooted. This is the circle of life with genre movies in Hollywood. For "Friday the 13th" and its masked killer Jason Voorhees, the franchise had remained resilient for nearly three decades without ever being rebooted. But when that reboot came in 2009, it offered a new generation of horror fans a way to become acquainted with Mr. Voorhees.

How does one deal with the grief of the unfortunate loss of a loved one? Losing a child as a mother, especially, can be one of the toughest things to face, but ClearMind shows a rather gruesome approach to dealing with the grief of death—blame it on the people next to you and plan revenge in your head for their negligence. Well, to be fair, Nora’s life falls into complete disarray after the unfortunate death of her daughter, which gets aggravated by her divorce and her isolation from her friends. This indie movie, despite its annoyingly eccentric characters and unimpressive screenplay, shows a fresh take on the slasher genre.

“A lot of things have been said, and a lot of them very hurtful,” Doherty said in reference to her hard-to-follow saga with Milano. During an episode of Doherty’s Let’s Be Clear podcast in December, she...

Shortly after Alyssa Milano denied getting Shannen Doherty fired from The WB’s Charmed, Doherty has issued a public response, standing by every word that she and co-star Holly Marie Combs said on her podcast about Milano’s allegedly toxic behavior on set.
Doherty even said that she and Combs “edited out anything that we thought would cause more drama” in an effort to “save the fans from heartbreak as much as humanly possible.”

The drama between Tamra Judge and the two remaining Tres Amigas has escalated after Vicki Gunvalson’s recent interview.
The always outspoken former Real Housewives of Orange County star shared details about their feud and blamed Tamra’s assistant for getting between the former friends.
However, news had already gotten back to Tamra about those claims, and she clapped back and called Vicki a “liar.”
Tamra was upset in the video as she defended her assistant and said he had nothing to do with her decision to part ways with the Tres Amigas.
As for Shannon, she hasn’t been saying much publicly about her conflict with Tamra, but they are both currently filming Season 18.
It’s gearing up to be a rough couple of months for Shannon, who’s not only dealing with the aftermath of her DUI arrest, her fallout with her bestie, and her recent breakup but a major betrayal as well.

It’s about to be a rocky couple of months for Shannon Beador as filming is in full swing for Season 18. However, she’s getting a slew of support from longtime viewers.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star must address her DUI and hit-and-run arrest from 2023, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Shannon is dealing with a rough split from on/off boyfriend John Janssen, who’s now dating returning Rhoc cast member Alexis Bellino.
The new couple have been flaunting their romance on social media, and now Shannon is forced to film the show with her ex’s new girlfriend.
Added to that is her feud with former friend Tamra Judge who has now befriended Alexis. That will make for an interesting dynamic among the cast and a riveting season for viewers, but an awkward position for poor Shannon.

No one can say NCIS isn’t a successful TV show. With 20 seasons and counting, it has become downright iconic and spawned multiple spin-offs.
The original series has a proven episodic formula with compelling crimes and intriguing mysteries.
What it doesn’t have much of is happy relationships.
If you are a shipper, be warned. With rare exceptions, long-term romances are doomed on NCIS.
Couples are either teased but never get together, only get together offscreen, or break up far too fast to be satisfying to the fans who root for them.
And if a couple somehow miraculously does end up in a stable, loving relationship, well, the clock is ticking because one of them is likely to die.
So read on as I list the NCIS couples that infuriated, depressed, or simply broke my heart.

In July, TV legend John Amos’ 53-year-old son, K.C., ended up in a New Jersey jail after his 57-year-old daughter, Shannon, claimed that K.C. had sent her “terroristic” threats over text message that made her believe that her life was in danger, according to a police report. These included a photo of a rifle with a caption explaining that it “can clean a turkey out from 3 football fields away.”
It was the latest in a series of sensational, headline-grabbing episodes involving the siblings this year. Exclusive: Writer-director Courtney J. Camerota has wrapped production on her first feature, Dead Guy, a dark comedy shot under an Interim Agreement that will be introduced to buyers at AFM by CAA Media Finance. Among those in the starry cast are two-time Oscar nominee Michael Shannon (The Bikeriders), Golden Globe nominee Eva Longoria (Sylvie’s Love), Judy Greer (White House Plumbers), Luis Guzman (Story Ave), Amaury Nolasco (The Valet), Rory Culkin (Black Mirror), Curtis Armstrong (New Girl), Ashley Reyes (Walker), and Richard Ellis (Walker).
Dead Guy‘s plot is set into motion when an abrasive old man suddenly dies in the apartment of a neighbor. An absurd game of hot potato then begins with the not-so-dearly departed, as neighbors and building workers each pass the body along, in the hopes of not being linked to the old man’s demise.
Marking the launch of Shft, the new production company of Zac Adams, Dead Guy is also produced by Ryan Lewis of Ryan J. Lewis, Esq, as well as Chadd Harbold of Post Film. Jack Christian of Filmology served as a producer and financier. Exec producers included D.J. McPherson of Filmology, Jared Safier and Justin Safier of Safier Entertainment, Russ Posternak of Post Film, and Nathan Marcus.
Said Camerota, “I wrote this script years ago and to finally see it come to life is a dream come true. The opportunity to work with such an incredible cast, crew and producing team for my directorial debut has been an absolute honor. I can’t wait for the world to see Dead Guy.”
Producer Zac Adams stated that “as both a filmmaker and movie lover, the main goal is to always create films that are not only of the highest quality, but films that are enjoyable. With the world being as dark as it’s been the past few years, I hope our film helps spread some much needed light. It was an absolute honor and privilege in helping Courtney’s vision come to life.”
Added producer Ryan Lewis, “When I read this script I knew this movie had to be made. I’m thrilled that I got to help make it, and got to do so with both a friend and client in Courtney. Our incredible cast is a testament to Courtney’s writing and I’m overjoyed to see her vision come to life on the big screen.”
Shannon is repped by CAA, Range, and Yorn, Levine, Barnes; Longoria by WME, Linden Entertainment, and Yorn, Levine, Barnes; Greer by CAA, Artists First, and Felker Toczek Suddleson; Guzman by Gersh and Gravesend Entertainment; Nolasco by Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman; Culkin by Paradigm and Brookside Artist Management; Armstrong by Cesd; and Reyes by Stewart Talent and Mosaic.

Damian Shannon and Mark Swift were the writers who cracked the Freddy vs. Jason story and pulled that project out of development hell, where it had been trapped for a decade. Six years later, when Warner Bros. teamed up with Paramount and Platinum Dunes for a Friday the 13th reboot, Shannon and Swift were again the writers. (You can hear all about that Friday the 13th in our latest Wtf Happened video.) Since the reboot made over $91 million at the global box office on a budget of $19 million when it was released in February of 2009, it was no surprise when it was announced that it was going to receive a sequel, to be shot in 3-D and released on August 13, 2010. Then the studios couldn’t agree on the money split, so the sequel was shelved… but not before Shannon and Swift had already written the full script. Today, to celebrate Friday the 13th,...

Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, the writers of the 2009 version of Friday the 13th, have been sprinkling out details about the remake’s unmade sequel over the years, and today they’re celebrating Friday the 13th with a full kill scene from the script. But first, a little recap.
From what we’ve gathered, the film was set to be a direct sequel to the 2009 remake, but centered on new characters rather than continuing Whitney and Clay’s story. The plan was for the film to be set during the Winter, and its title was The Death of Jason Voorhees.
The writers note, “The script had an extended opening sequence again, this time in winter, then the rest of the movie is the reopening of the summer camp.”
Today isn’t the first time Shannon and Swift have shared pages from the script they wrote, as back in 2017 they tweeted...
