[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Squid Game: The Challenge, Episodes 1-9.] When it comes to the 456 players who entered Squid Game: The Challenge‘s competition, it was clear from the beginning that mother-son duo Leann Wilcox and Trey Plutnicki would be fan-favorites. The problem with fan favorites though? There’s always the chance they’ll be eliminated. Such was the case for Leann and Trey, who made it over halfway through the competition together, until they were presented with the game of marbles. Initially disguised as a picnic treat, the pair teamed up for their little smorgasbord, only to discover a pouch of marbles at the bottom. They, along with the remaining players, were escorted to a separate space to play a round of the game. Whoever won, or was determined to be the winner, would remain in the competition, while the other would be eliminated. (Credit: Pete Dadds/Netflix) Each played a fair game,...

Squid Game: The Challenge premiered on Netflix this week, Wednesday, November 22, and the show is already surrounded by controversy and criticism. According to Deadline, at least two of the 456 contestants have threatened to sue Netflix and co-producers Studio Lambert over alleged injuries suffered during the making of the reality competition series. Express Solicitors, a personal injury firm based out of the U.K., is representing two unnamed players who claim to have suffered hypothermia and nerve damage due to the cold conditions while shooting the show. Squid Game: The Challenge (Credit: Pete Dadds/Netflix) The series, based on the hit Korean drama Squid Game, was filmed in the U.K. back in January across two studios, Cardington Studios in Bedford and six sound stages in Barking, London. At the time, reports emerged that ambulances had been called to the studios to treat real-life injuries sustained while filming. “We have sent...

Note: This story contains spoilers from “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” Season 2, Episode 4.
Just moments before Kelly Rizzo voluntarily withdrew from “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” after a particularly brutal challenge, the directing staff (DS) told the blogger that her late husband, Bob Saget, would have been proud of her for persevering through her pain.
“I remember DS Q… was chirping in my ear a lot, and he did say, ‘your husband’s looking down on you — he’s proud of you,'” Rizzo told TheWrap of her final moments on the Fox reality series. “It made me happy in a sense, but then part of me was like, ‘Oh, don’t do this to me right now.'”
While Rizzo recalled thinking of Saget gave her “a little extra push at the end” despite her discomfort, she thinks her late husband would have ultimately supported her early exit from the intensive eight-day experience.

After nine years, Gordon Ramsay’s “Kitchen Nightmares” is back on Fox, with Season 8 seeing the chef once again giving struggling restaurants across New York and New Jersey much-needed makeovers.
While most of the unscripted series is about Ramsay dishing out tough love to restaurant owners and their staff in order to teach them how to run a successful business, each episode sees the eatery at hand also getting a physical transformation.
“The real problems are usually the leadership and what’s going on in the kitchen. Our renovations are there to elevate the places and help them fix it in that way,” production designer Brian Crabb told IndieWire, revealing that the execution of those changes — which are only seen by the owner and staff after completion — typically takes place in 18 hours.
