Terminator: Genisys and R-rated comedy Magic Mike XXL both began rolling out in North America Tuesday night before opening everywhere Wednesday in advance of the Fourth of July weekend. Magic Mike XXL, the sequel to Steven Soderbergh's sleeper hit, narrowly danced past Genisys with $2.4 million for Warner Bros, ahead of the $2.1 million earned by the first Magic Mike in late-night runs. Genisys took in $2.3 million for Paramount and Skydance Productions. Both films will have to battle holdover titans Jurassic World and Inside
