Film Director Roger Michell died on September 22, 2021. He was 65 years old.

He directed one of the most popular romantic comedies of the 90's, he took Peter O'Toole to his last Oscar nomination and he worked on varied genres that included drama, war, thrillers and documentaries among others.

His last film, Elizabeth: A Portrait in Part(s) (2022), is in post production and will be released in 2022.
