Poll: Best Movie Wingman

A wingman doesn't just help you get lucky with the ladies, he also has your back no matter what. A wingman reminds you that you are awesome when you are feeling down, and makes sure you never sell yourself short. Here is a list of great wingmen from movies, rate the characters themselves, not the actors. I included the actor name just for reference purposes, but this list is geared toward the character himself.

    Trent (Vince Vaughn)-Swingers: Playing Trent, he is always there to help his buddy Mike (John Favreau) pick up chicks, and he always reminds him that he is just so money.

    Robin (Burt Ward)-Batman: Although a slough of actors have played and voiced Robin over the years, it doesn't change the fact that the boy wonder is a true wingman. Saving Batman's life numerous times and wearing that lame outfit without objection Robin is a true wingman.

    Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew)-Star Wars: Han Solo never has to fly solo with his furry friend watching his back. Although Han saved Chewbacca's life originally, Chewie has dedicated his life to returning the favor and has become a true wingman.

    Samwise Gamgee (Sean Astin)-The Lord of the Rings: Sam goes with Frodo to destroy the ring, saves his life a few times, and even offers to split wearing the ring so Frodo isn't tempted. True wingman.

By having a wingman than knows 100 times more about women than you of coarse. Roger Swanson shows his nephew the ropes and gives him the tools he will need to lay pipe. Wingmen can be like wine, better with age.

Pink goes out of his way to offer Mitch (Wiley Wiggins) a ride home, but then goes the extra distance offering to pick him up for a night of fun that you could only have in the 70's. Pink goes further, offering Mitch advice on older women, and keeping him safe when he is with the older high schoolers. Wingman!

    Stiles (Jerry Levine)-Teen Wolf: Stiles is the wingman that will let you catch waves on the top of his van if you turn into a wolf. He will loan you Hawaiian shirts, and even dump jello on girls if it gets you a little action. You can catch him standing in front of the wolfmobile with that reassuring look on his face, or cheering for you in he bleachers while you shoot hoops. Every wolf needs a wingman.

A true wingman...except for unknowingly hooking up with Cal's daughter, but that happens.
