The following films feature the Predestination paradox which arises from time travel. It can be of two types : (a) A causal loop, where two events separated by time are the cause of each other. (b) An ontological paradox, where an object or some information has no origin.

    The coordinates to the secret NASA base were given to the protagonist by his future self. This information has no origin. Also, humanity being saved with the help of future humans is a causal paradox.

    Artificial Intelligence is invented by reverse engineering the technology present in the terminator sent from the future. The technology to create artificial intelligence has no origin.
