Poll: Favorite Songs for the “Dog and Pony Review”
Someone got me thinking of Lady and the Tramp (1955) when he mentioned “Bella Notte (This Is the Night)” on another poll which caused my mind immediately to remember the dog pound scene where the stray dogs where howling a terrible rendition of “There's No Place Like Home (Home, Sweet Home)”, just before Peg was introduced, and it was mentioned that she used to be a star of the “Dog and Pony Review”. Then she sings her song.
I thought it would be a great idea to create a fictional "Dog and Pony Review", with a list of songs that meet the following criteria: 1) The song is from an animated film, 2) The song is sung by an animal (including fish, reptile, dinosaur, bird, or insect), and 3) The song is an original song written for the movie.
I am looking for songs such as: opening numbers, torch songs, songs about family, love songs, lullabies, funny character songs, big production numbers show breakers, villain songs, dramatic songs, and inspirational songs.
