Hans-Walter Clasen was born on 30 April 1923 in Unkel, Germany. He was an actor, known for Sein Traum vom Grand Prix (1968), Cliff Dexter (1966) and Schmutzige Hände (1956). He died in 1979 in West Berlin, West Germany.- 1976 A-levels at the Staatliches Rhein-Wied-Gymnasium Neuwied. 1977 to 1980 studies of German, philosophy and politics at the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe-University Frankfurt a. M. 1980 to 1982 training as a businesswoman in the real estate and housing industry in Bonn.
From 1985 to 1991, she worked in press and public relations for associations (construction industry association, federal association of company health insurance funds). From 1992 to 2000, she was a full-time district councilor in the Neuwied district, responsible for the economy, transportation, road construction, building and village renewal, schools, youth and culture. 2000 to 2005 Vice-President of the Struktur- und Genehmigungsdirektion Nord in Koblenz, Head of Department for Spatial and Regional Planning, Construction, Nature Conservation and Compensation/Expropriation.
Member of Intitiative Pskow e. V. of the Protestant Church in the Rhineland and on the supervisory board of Technologiezentrum für Oberflächentechnik in Rheinbreitbach.
Since 1981 member of the Rhineland-Palatinate FDP state association, 1985 to 1997 district chairwoman in the Neuwied district association, co-opted member of the Koblenz FDP district executive committee and the Rhineland-Palatinate state executive committee. 1989 to 1991 parliamentary group chairwoman of the FDP in the Neuwied district council.
Member of the Bundestag since 2005.
