Composer, songwriter ("My Michigan" [official state song]), author and organist, he came to the USA in 1920 and became a citizen in 1926. He was educated at SFCI and the Toronto Conservatory, and wrote the college musical. He was accompanist for the Wolverine Four from 1920-1931, and then wrote and directed radio programs. He was music director for the Knights of Columbus in Michigan for four years, and organist for the Detroit Lodge of the BPOE from 1945 to 1960, and for St. Mary's Church in Detroit.
