- After a long career on stage and film, in New York and Hollywood, Dorothy Tree, as Dorothy Uris, had a second career, as a speech and voice coach at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, privately, and teaching speech and acting at the Mannes College of Music and the Manhattan School of Music.
