- Remi is taken by train to a prison but his friends hatch a plan to free him. In France Mrs. Milligan continues to inquire about Remi.
- The adversity that has come to the family means that the economic problems have no solution other than the embargo and the jail. The children are sadly separated.
- Remi and Vitalis arrive in Bordeaux, a great French city. Due to the crowd Remo gets lost and finds company.
- Mattia leaves the music teacher and joins Remi again. They continue their show to earn money and buy a cow for Remi's mother, but there is a lot of competition going on.
