Carmel has been struggling all month and desperately needs a sale to hit her monthly sales goal. But she's got her work cut out for her with bride Jennifer Roman. Jennifer's short on both ideas and cash - she wants to find something for under $2000. Jennifer has an open mind, but her cousin Gina gives Carmel a piece of her mind at every turn. Gina believes Carmel isn't looking hard enough to find Jennifer dresses to fit her personality - so she stages a mutiny and rallies her family to search through the store to find the perfect dress. - Every day is different at the bridal salon; sometimes there are one hundred appointments and sometimes fifty. And while it's shaping up to be a slow day at the salon that does not mean it is going to be an easy one. When there are fewer appointments, Kleinfeld accepts walk-ins and you never know who might show up. Every bride poses a unique challenge and can certainly fill a slow day. Bride-to-be Janice is a motorcycle enthusiast who never thought she would get married. But after meeting the man of her dreams online, she has changed her outlook. Janice's fiancé, Steven, joins her large family at the bridal salon and consultant Dianne must help find a dress that is as outrageous as Janice, but also flattering. Bridal consultant Camille is running late and refuses to let the managers take over her appointment. But manager Joan insists that Camille move on to her next appointment and meet bride Christina Han and her sister, Sylvia. Camille obliges but then she returns to check on her earlier appointment. Left alone, Christina and Sylvia take photographs of a dress, which is forbidden in the bridal salon. This can only mean trouble for Camille. Natasha's Mom and her future Mother-in-law are in attendance for this bride's dress selection and consultant Audrey has a challenge: Natasha's wedding is only four months away and she's looking for a fantasy dress. It is a black and white affair, with an Old Hollywood theme, and Natasha only has a few months to find a dress that both she and her mother love. Michele Brightbill is a petite bride looking for a vintage-style dress. She is only 4'11", so Keasha must find the right gown-a silhouette that will not overwhelm her, and a design with enough detail to please the bride's eye. - Brides begin their wedding dress search either knowing exactly what they want or having no idea whatsoever. For Kimberly Gindi, her perfect dress doesn't exist so she decides to custom design it herself with designer, Pnina Tornai, by her side. But Kimberly soon finds out that an idea in your head doesn't always translate well in reality. Unhappy with the way her custom dress turns out, the salon worries the bride will walk away from the dress, leaving them with a custom gown nobody wants. Fortunately, Kimberly is able to find another dress that she is happy with, at least for the moment! After finding an alternate dress to replace her custom disaster, Kimberly returns with her father because she's unhappy about the lace that makes up the entire gown. When she finds out that her father loves the lace and thinks altering the dress is a big mistake, Kimberly doesn't know what to do and is stuck between the vision in her head and what's in front of her. Meanwhile, Marie O'Boyle is sharing her wedding dress experience with her mom, sister-in-law and consultant, Keasha. Not really sure what she wants, Marie has chosen a selection of styles from the salon's website. What starts as a simple appointment for Keasha soon turns a little sour when Marie's mom dislikes every dress her daughter puts on. A confused and frustrated Marie finally breaks down after finding a dress she really loves but her mom hates. Some brides don't know what they want until you tell them! When Elberta Seybold's friend, Stephanie, decides that "this" is the dress for her, Elberta buys the dress, heads home and second guesses herself like crazy. Now she's back for a three day fitting, but she's nervous about the dress, the fit, and maybe even the wedding itself! - When a bride chooses her wedding gown, sometimes she still needs to be convinced she made the right choice. Vicky Guttman has returned to the Salon because she no longer likes the dress she selected. She thinks that the back of the dress looks like a down comforter. Vicky's twin sister, Audrey, and her mother both love the original dress and feel Vicky will end up sticking with her first choice. Vicky has asked her sister to be completely honest about each dress, but when Audrey is too honest, Vicky is not happy. Her wedding may not be for another three years, but Laura Dumholt is ready to start looking at wedding gowns. Laura has brought along her friend, Tom, because they both love fashion. When consultant, Audrey, finds out that Tom is a designer of sorts, she starts to question who she's really selling too. Given the time frame of Laura's potential wedding, Audrey doesn't think she is ready to make a purchase, however, it doesn't stop her from doing her best to find something Laura will look fabulous in. Downstairs, a double fitting for a bride-to-be and her mother, leave everyone gushing with happiness. Kathryn Meyer and her mom, Brenda, are having their first fitting. Although, Brenda is excited to see her mother-of-the-bride dress, she's more excited to see her daughter in her wedding gown. There's no question as to who the day belongs to--- it's Kathryn's all the way. The bridal industry is very competitive, and to stay in the game, the Salon is attempting to create it's own line of wedding gowns. Knowing that they're taking a huge risk, owner, Mara, and her team, work extra hard to be innovative. It will take teamwork to be successful, but it's not always so easy to work with others.
