- "Hold me Close" was written and performed by Frederico Ashton (AKA Fred-Day). Lifeline Macarthur received a grant from the NSW Government to create a song and video on teen suicide. Director Patrick McGeown (AKA Captain Pat) was chosen to head the project - he created a concept and spoke to Fred-Day, as he and Fred had collaborated on projects previously. Fred had recently appeared with Three Wishez as semi finalist on X-Factor and was very keen to be involved - he had often spoken about depression on Pat's radio show on c91.3 FM. The lyrics Fred wrote for "Hold me Close" are a chilling eye-opener to the world of depression. Pat chose the old Oran Park House as the location for the shoot. Fred's singing and moving through the mansion's empty rooms was a metaphor for a depressed mind searching for an answer - an answer that rarely comes. The addition of Olivia McCarthy's haunting voice and the support from Campbelltown Performing Arts High School Choir brought the message of "Hold me Close" to life. The song was well received by the community, government and also Lifeline.
