Peter Stavros' daughter tries to retrieve her father's briefcase from Angela. Robin disappears with the baby, when Melissa and Cole pay Robin the money.

Richard overcomes Lance's ploy to control The New Globe by producing the man who framed Melissa, who demands that Lance move out. - As flames begin to sweep through the mansion, Lance rescues Angela and Emma. Cassandra discovers her mother was behind the fire, as well as the one that killed her father 30 years ago. She then sells her controlling interest in Falcon Crest to Peter Stavros but is dismayed to discover this was all part of Angela's plan. However, Peter refuses to sell Falcon Crest back to Angela as planned, and insists he will only give it back to her if she marries him. Despite suffering from amnesia, Maggie agrees to renew her marriage vows with Chase. On the day, Angela pours her own brand of vitriol on the ceremony by bringing up Chase's "affair" with Connie Gianinni. Richard's would-be assassin tries again, but this time he springs a trap and captures them, revealing it to be someone he was very close to. Lance meets a singer called Apollonia.
- Julia faces the death penalty when she pleads guilty. Angela orders Lance to complicate Chase's return to Falcon Crest.

Cassandra, who is pregnant gets broken up by Richard; while Robin gives birth.
- Angela and Lance bribe a mechanic to claim Chase was drinking prior to piloting the fatal flight. Maggie's celebration for her father's return turns painful when Angela makes a startling announcement.
- Chase hears that Jasper's case is being reopened, he's very doubtful of Angela's motives, and confronts her, who also learns that Francesca is selling her third of Falcon Crest to Angela to save her vineyards in Italy. Confused, Francesca had listened to Angela, telling her that Chase would be very pleased. Cole wants to love Melissa enough to move in with her, especially against his parents' wishes. Richard, unsuccessfully attempts to prevent Lance from seeing Lorraine, and cautions his nephew not to hurt his stepdaughter. Francesca wants to throw a farewell party, before returning to Italy. She and Lance perform the tarantella dance, and scolds her family for greed and hatred. Jean-Louis helps Francesca by stealing her agreement from Angela's safe. Prior to the evening, Gustav's henchmen follow Julia, seize her and drive off.
