- This NBC Special from 1977 pitted celebrities from the worlds of film and TV in the United States against stars from the U.K. and the rest of the World. Three teams of five men and three women representing their native land, competed in a series of nine events during this fast paced and exciting 2 hour TV Special. Sporting events included bowling, darts, rowing, swimming and running relays and soccer goal kicking.
- Presented by Chevrolet, "Changing Scene" combined music, comedy, and dancing in equal parts on this entertaining Variety Special from 1970. The hour special was hosted by Gene Kelly and guest starred Barbara Eden, James Garner, Arte Johnson and The Mike Curb Congregation. Gene sings "Feelin Groovy", followed by Barbara performing "Windmills of your Mind". The Mike Curb Congregation sing "Sweet Gingerbread Man" and then, for the finale, the entire cast sings a rousing rendition of "Mame".
- Stars from the world of television, film and music compete in a modern day rodeo with all the excitement of a classic Wild West Show. The stars participate in activities ranging from Pony Express relay races and quick draw contests to Mechanical bull riding. Country singing legends Glen Campbell and Tammy Wynette perform some of their hit songs for the enthusiastic audience. The special was taped at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center and at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA.
- On this festive and tropical Holiday outing, Bob Hope introduces The Associated Press- All American Football Team. Mother and daughter country duo, The Judds, sing Winter Wonderland and Beautiful Star of Bethlehem and Bob and Barbara Eden perform his signature Christmas song, Silver Bells. Comedy bits include a spoof of the hit movie Steel Magnolias. Entitled Steel Petunias, the skit has Bob Hope dressed in drag as the Dolly Parton character, Miss Trudy !
- Show Biz Legend Bob Hope and his lovely wife Dolores welcome Loni Anderson, Barbara Eden, Joey Lawrence, Ed Marinaro and The Judds (Wynonna and Naomi) into their home for a warm, home-style Christmas in Dec. of 1993. Highlights from the 2-hour show include a look back at some of the funniest moments from 40 years of Bob Hope Christmas Specials. Wynonna and Naomi Judd perform a haunting rendition of "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem", while Bob and Dolores sing the traditional Holiday classic "Silver Bells".
- Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso were two of the greatest painters of the 20th Century.It is a story of Competition, envy and resentment between the Spanish ex-patriate Picasso (1881- 1973) and the French artist Matisse (1869-1954).Although Matisse's art,including his painting "The Blue Nude" was considered quite scandalous for it's time in turn of the century Paris, and despite their twelve year age difference, the two legends continued to inspire each others work for decades.
- The theme of the 40th Annual Miss USA Pageant is The Spirit of America which is reflected in the opening song "Hooray for the USA". The patriotic theme was due (in part) to the USA's ongoing war in the Middle East (Iraq) and the hope that there would soon be a peaceful resolution.
- Bob Hope kicks off his 31st season on NBC with this hilarious spoof of prime time television programs. Included here, is a takeoff on "Dallas", entitled: Who shot BH ? and spoofs of "Charley's Angels", Real People and That's Incredible, among others.
- The theme for The 52nd Annual Orange Bowl Parade is "A Dream is a Wish" as evidenced by the Walt Disney inspired festivities and floats. The parade gets off to a spectacular start with Hostess Barbara Eden who is joined by Pluto, Donald Duck, Pinocchio, and Grand Marshals...Mickey and Minnie Mouse for a rousing version of "Zip Pid Dee Doo Dah" and is followed up by some of the greatest marching bands in the USA.
- Following in the footsteps of famed film historian Robert Osborne from Turner Classic Movies, Whoopie Goldberg and co-host Linda Blair share the spotlight while introducing classic horror films from the 1930's through the 1960's. They offer a behind the scenes glimpse into the making of such legendary movies like The Wolf Man, Frankenstein, The Invisible Man and Dracula, all of which were filmed at Universal Studios. This TV special aired on the AMC (American Movie Classics) channel during Halloween week of 2000.

- When the town's fire department, run by Flora Reilly fails to respond to a local neighborhood blaze because of irresponsible volunteers and antiquated equipment, Stella demands that the town council elect a new fire chief. But, when Stella is elected to the position, Flora and her daughter Wanda do everything in their power to sabotage her efforts to improve the departments efficiency.
- Stella chaperone's Dee and her friends on a school related camping trip deep in the woods of Grizzly Gap. During a friendly poker game, Stella's Uncle Buster and Mayor Harper learn that a dangerous criminal has escaped from jail and is heading back to his old hide-out at Grizzly Gap.
- After the Scrooge like CEO of Reilly Enterprises (Flora Reilly) refuses to sign the Holiday bonus checks for all her employees, she is knocked unconscious by a falling Christmas tree. Later, she is visited by three ghosts who show how her miserable life will end if she does not change her evil ways.
- While taking diction lessons from the married English teacher at Harper Valley High, Stella becomes furious when she receives a sweater with a scarlet A on it from an anonymous member of the PTA board who assumes that she is having an affair !
- Flora Reilly tries to shut down a local mens club, unaware that Mayor Harper and her son-in-law Bobby are members. After Stella gets busted for an illegal lottery ticket and thrown in jail, she discovers from public records that Flora's great grandmother founded the club and entertained men in a burlesque revue.
- Flora Simpson Reilly writes a play for a community theatre production and casts her daughter in the lead role of the Viking Princess. But, after Wanda falls and injures herself during a rehearsal, the director insists that Stella takes over the starring role in Flora's dramatic epic, "The Curse of the Widow's Heart".
- When Loco's irresponsible boyfriend Charlie is disinherited by his rich father, the girls get him a job as the buildings maintenance engineer. But, all hell breaks loose when the inexperienced handy man blows a fuse in the basement, completely destroying the buildings electrical wiring, air conditioning system and elevators.
- With bills mounting and their bank balance dwindling, the girls enlist the aid of a slick and fast talking press agent, Jack Connors, played by guest star Morey Amsterdam. She also shows a preview of her new movie for The Hallmark Channel...."Monster Makers" which co-stars George Kennedy.
