A cruel practice called "boning" was also performed, in which chickens had their sensitive nostrils stabbed through with a dull plastic rod, and thus their food intake was limited in order to curb their growth.

Many suffered from disturbingly untreated illnesses and wounds, and were often put into a freezer in order to die. In one case, a hedgehog was mauled by another, and was left with his front leg intact just by the skin.

By the 27 million pigs slaughtered every year in the USA, 14 millions of them are raised by Smithfield Foods.

- In 2014, Aussie Pigs investigated inside Korunye Park Piggery, a piggery that contains two separate farrow-to-finish modules. In each of the modules, pigs were found confined to farrowing crates and sow stalls, and the piggery structures were dilapidated and covered in cobwebs and dirt. In addition to the confinement, deaths, injuries and mutilation without pain relief, multiple piglets appeared to suffer from a mange-like condition.
- In 1999, PETA revealed a trainer who attacked and abused elephants with electric prods and bullhooks, and told trainers about how to "train" these animals to perform circus tricks. And the conditions aren't nice.

- Mercy for Animals went into Buckeye Veal Farm, one of the top veal producers in the US, where baby calves lived their entire lives chained by their necks inside wooden stalls, so small they couldn't perform any of the basic behaviors natural for them. Bob Barker narrates this investigation done by the MFA.
- "Precious Drops" performance during late January of 2002 marked the end of a 11-year-long adventure that started in 1991 with "Singin' in the Rain" in Mosjøen Cinema. As soon as the idea was conceived, the initiators gathered vocalists, bands, the Vefsn Ensemble, musicians, and dancers to perform shows based on the famous movie world with music and pictures. The audience from Mosjøen wholeheartedly supported the initiative, and as a result, 9 different performances in almost 30 nights, with over 150 movie songs, managed to gather 10,000 audiences. "Theme from the Olsen Gang" was the music that was played several times more than anything else. This show was the essence of these performances, and was partly determined by the audience through online voting. This film is an important documentation of the local cultural life in Mosjøen, with over two hours of good professional entertainment, and an affirmation that the show's creators will achieve it when they unite forces.

- An Animal Recovery Mission (ARM) investigation was done at Larson Dairy Farm, a supplier for the popular Florida-based supermarket chain Publix, where cows were crowded into small pens and milking stalls, and then brutalized by workers by getting kicked and beaten.

- PETA did get appalled by what they saw on a video they recently received from an eyewitness who worked inside Maine Fair Trade Lobster. This is one of the largest lobster-processing facilities in Maine where dozens of live lobsters have their claws torn off, have their shells punctured, and have their heads ripped off. Still, they remain alive but left to suffer from excruciating pain. This is illegal by Maine law, but still a common practice in the business.

Christian Tell, who is the son of a great archer named William Tell, sets the governor's cap on fire and gets arrested for it. William Tell gets to know about this and sets out to set his son free, but falls into an ice cave where in his unconscious state is given three special arrows from an ice warrior: one for truth, one for deceit, and one to gain nothing.
- On March 22, a mass shooting took place at a King Soopers supermarket in Boulder, Colorado. 10 people, including an on-duty police officer, got killed during the attack. Dean Schiller, known as a "citizen journalist" used his phone and live streamed everything he witnessed.
- Grini, later known as Ila Detention and Security Prison after the war, was an infamous Nazi concentration camp in Bærum, and was operated by German Nazis between 1941 and May 1945. Opponents, hostages and frantic patriots were imprisoned there, and many were often tortured. Only the name Grini itself spread fear and horror among good Norwegians during the period. In the Liberation Day, a documentary film was made to show you the life at Grini after peace finally came to Norway, and to reveal the German's assault on the prisoners.

- In 2015, Animal Liberation groups form across Australia went to three pig slaughterhouses in Victoria, where pigs (including those from so-called "free range" farms) are put into cages that lower them down to carbon dioxide gas chambers, where they scream, trash and kick in excruciating pain as they try to escape before they finally suffocate. This is regarded as the industry's "best practices".
- In Venice Beach, Los Angeles, homeless encampments have become a problem for residents of the area, and have been connected to a string of crimes, like shooting, fighting, fires and drug use. The homeless crisis in the town has only worsened in over five years, with the homeless population having increased by half. Due to many chaotic events that have occurred recently, residents of the area have expressed concerns over the expansion of homeless encampments along Ocean Front Walk, the city's famous boardwalk, as well as elsewhere in a neighborhood known for its beach and canals.
